Banks to NFL- opting out of Orange Bowl

Did he just graduate as reported on here elsewhere or not? I am a bit confused.
He walked at graduation ceremony but did not graduate with a degree. Idk if this was a situation where the staff decided to move on or if he was simply academically disqualified from playing in bowl game. I tend to think the latter unless something else happened.

No he's not but he made a big difference in the preparation leading up to the game.
He certainly made a big DISTRACTION in the preparation leading up to the game, doubt any of us will ever know what exactly happened though, but it had an impact.

Sounds like he didn’t have much choice since he supposedly was academically ineligible. It will be interesting to see how he does at the combine, if he’s invited, and whether he can get drafted.
OP should of said opted out of going to class, can’t play in orange bowl.

If he doesn't get drafted he will get signed as a UDFA IMO . He plays hard and is decent could make a rotation somewhere

Some of the greatest thinkers in the world will be carefully analyzing and doing in depth case studies on how this player was able to play four years of college football at the same institution without being permanently suspended by the program. He'll be used as precedent when recruiting, "I don't care how unlikely it is that we can keep this kid on the straight and narrow. Remember back when we got JB through"...

Cuts out a week before the bowl.. Someone else could have used his bowl practice reps.
Real classy

he didn't take reps from anyone. he has been doing hardly anything above watching. Staff was aware he was not going to be available.

I think Banks could make money doing " Leon" roles in a remake of old Budweiser commercials .
" ain't no I in team"

If that is a fact and not more speculation I stand corrected.

I disagree. The defense laid down. They did not come to play bc of what happened. They felt like Banks should have still been able to play and therefore didn’t play for him.
How do we know what they felt? Am I missing a piece of information?

That's fair to say but that's different than saying "If Banks plays, we win". If you said, "If whatever happened in the locker room didn't happen, we win.", that would be a much better argument.
