Bashing needs to stop

So you prefer Dooley?

If you were hiring a coach, looking at resumes and didn't/couldn't see the names, you'd take the guy who had a .400 winning % at La Tech, followed up by a .420 winning % at his next job? Over a resume that shows a .650 winning % and 4 championships over 6 years at 2 different programs? Because the guy at SEC school beat the guy at the Big East school at home with far superior talent?

Guess you think I'm disregarding something here, but I'm not sure what other facts with respect to their "resumes" are "important".

Wow. That's what you got out of that? I'm sorry.

Awesome. You didn't disappoint!

I'm "adapt" and "abandon" have completely different meanings. Or is comprehension too uninteresting for you as well?

Big picture, I get it....
Gotta get that OL a year of full immersion in his system for next year, right? Wait, aren't they going to be gone? I think they are....

But at least our starting RB will benefit big picture wise... Wait, he's a senior too? Well crap.

Our receivers will benefit for sure. Because the read option mesh points/reads are really important for the WRs to learn.

But the back-up OL will be ready to roll day one next season. What? They're terrible & are being recruited over as we speak with several JUCOs that are expected to come in and contribute immediately.

So yeah. I see your point of refusing to ADAPT your offense to give your team the best opportunity at success. You've won me over with your comments about others being "stupid and ignorant, av123. That's some real substance. I'm going to go reevaluate my life as a result. Damn the torpedeoes! Full steam ahead!

You're right. In practice, where next year's players do not participate(evidently), we should be doing something completely different than what we will be doing next year.

He has a plan. Part of the plan involves not being a reactionary dip**** that feeds off the emotions of dimwitted fans.

Again, these threads will be so fun to bring up in 2 years.

I have him above Dooley I just don't know how much higher. And truthfully he's not the standard anyway so that's somewhat irrelevant.

Way above Dooley.

He's running a program. Not just being a football coach. That starts with recruiting.

He had Dooley pegged.

If Jones is winning championships here in a few years I vote he be made the AD.

He may be right in the end but I think he's jumped the gun at this point.

No. Failure to compete at the highest level you can... develop talent and depth... get the most out of the roster. Failure to have good gameplans, strategies, playcalling and adjustments... Those are the primary reasons they lost by more than 4 TD's to four different teams for the first time in at least 50 years, lost to Auburn by the largest margin ever, and lost to Vandy for the 2nd straight year in a VERY winnable game for the first time since the 1920's.... not to mention possibly losing 8 games for the first time in the program's history.

Sorry but you cannot excuse a staff that "leads" a team to historic lows.
Nothing you said disproves my initial point ... Talent, depth, and tough schedule is the primary reason with regards to the points you make. Your optimistic attitude shows through with regards to the 8 loses. Flame on Negavol and please tell us specifically what CBJ should do to correct the problem! I know none of this would have happened if Hart would have offered Gruden $50 million a year and he was our coach!

Two years? You're making them hilarious now.

Let me do something for you. Maybe it will help.

a·dapt-
To make suitable to or fit for a specific use or situation.

a·ban·don
to give up completely (a course of action, a practice, or a way of thinking).

Does this help any? At all? If not, I'm out of ideas to help you.

We lost a lot of offensive fire power (even though it never reached it's potential) from last year! If we give this man as much time as we gave the Dooleymeister, WE WILL BE OK!!!

This! We finished with a freshman QB and missed some key players with injuries...first year right off the bat! Besides, we had Vandy right where we wanted them!:furious3:

Nah. It's a Cardinal sin to question the Butcher. Me pointing out that Dooley rolled Butch obviously means that I thought Dooley was a football god rather than using that fact as a reason for folks to slow their roll on crowning Jones the GHFCAUTKOAT.

With all due respect, That's a dumb, sophomoric comment.,

.650 winning % and 4 championships looks a little better than the one with a .420 winning %

With NO due respect, that's a dumb, freshmanic comment.
.650% in Big East means NOTHING. What was CBJ's winning % this year in SEC? THAT IS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS.
And by the way his winning % vs Dooley is 0% (which also means Dooley's winning % vs best b-cat staff in America is 100%).

Nothing you said disproves my initial point ... Talent, depth, and tough schedule is the primary reason with regards to the points you make.
I never denied any of that. You are the one in denial. The coaching this season has been subpar. It may not be next year... I hope not. But this year it has been awful.
Your optimistic attitude shows through with regards to the 8 loses.
I am neither an optimiist nor a pessimist. I look at what "is" and try to understand it. UK is not a guaranteed win. Nothing about my "attitude" has caused any of the historic lows this team has hit this year. Coaching... has been a big factor in it.

Flame on Negavol and please tell us specifically what CBJ should do to correct the problem!
Do you really want me to list the things this staff has failed to do this year? I'd rather not since that probably wouldn't help much. But it would be things like his decision to "play not to lose" vs Vandy.

I know none of this would have happened if Hart would have offered Gruden $50 million a year and he was our coach!

I never really thought Gruden wanted to put in the work needed at UT. I never got excited about him like so many others. Every time UT supposedly met a supposed demand... he seemed to come up with a higher bar. He just didn't want to do it.
