Exactly... But ALL the time.. its either being clever, sarcastic, or really getting behind the team(vols) by kicking them while there down in hopes that one day you can be a Moderator of the sarcasm and bashing. Or maybe Sometimes...

VN or Volquest represents a minor percentage of fans. Real fans in the majority understand it's going to take time. The 2015 team should start to look good. Next year will be like this one.

Good post. IIRC Dooley ended his first season on a winning streak. That was what I was expecting of Butch's "process." Instead this team regressed.

I can tolerate the "bashers" better than the f-ing drama queens. Do you realize that nothing we idiots do on this site has ANY affect on the actual team???

Do you realize that players and recruits get one vn? And only drama queens are so bold as to want to fire a coach after 11 games.

Do you realize that every team has a forum just like this? No better or worse than volnation? If you think anyone playing or coaching D1 sports gives a damn about what yahoos put on here, you are GREATLY overestimating your contribution to the program.

I thought players and recruits were only interested in what company was making the uniforms and gear. I might not term everyone a drama queen who would like to see a losing coach become a winning coach. It's been five years, some are ready for some wins....... We won't live forever.:hi:

Wouldn't it be interesting to hear what a coach tells potential recruits, if anything, regarding an emotionally unstable fan base. LOL

It doesn't matter what we say about the coaches or the players they don't get on hete and read. Its just away for us vol fans to get stuff off our chest. GO VOLS!

It's called VENTING! That's all it is. Doesn't mean that us as fans don't believe in our team, we vent to each other. No big deal.

Im with yeah.....just all the constant negavol bashing..damn it...it gets old. Most of the threads are bashing. So guess i ve been venting as well...

Great question. I myself struggle to understand how fans can bash players, call them losers, deny their talent, etc in a vain attempt to excuse coaching shortcomings.

I understand us rebuilding a team that sucks right now....but the continuous bashing...is it helping the team?

IIRC, you are one of the worst "bashers" here. You bash the players so that you don't have to face the possibility that the coaching staff won't be the one to resurrect the program. You blame the players for everything and the coaches for nothing.

Most of the excuses being used by fans here... would have just as legitimately applied to arguments to keep Dooley after last year's fiasco.

If you look at it in parts, his teams did improve on O from '10 to '12. The D was improving until Sunseri came in and Dooley stupidly moved to the 3-4.

Now ultimately his stupid decisions saved us from having his incompetence hidden for a few more years.... but the arguments being used to excuse this staff are weaker than those that could have been used for Dooley in Dec '12.

Give me an example of a recruit who changed his mind about a school he had high on his list because of message board negativity.

Message board negativity is everywhere and recruits don't take it seriously. You think UGA posters have been all positive the last several years under Richt? And yet they finish in the top 10 in recruiting nearly every year.
