Best Concerts You've Attended

Great list! I bet this is the first time some have ever heard of Pat Metheny. I do have to admit I was never a fan of Rush though. Which is strange because most of my friends are/were.

If someone hasn't heard of Pat Metheny, they aren't too informed on the music scene

Tool in 2006. It was at the Desoto Civic Center in Southaven, MS. A dump of an arena, but it was packed and they rocked.

Umphrey's, STS9, and Disco Biscuits on the beach in Mexico at an all-inclusive joint for 4 days is pretty sweet. Less than 2 months before I go back!

I've seen all those bands several times. In that setting, it would have rank near the top of anyone's list. I know this sounds crazy, but I would rather see this type of show now than any of the great classic rock bands I've seen in the past.

Jake Cinninger is as good a guitarist as there is in any musical genre

I've got tickets for Eric Church next month. How is he live? I assume it will be a good ol' time.

Eric Church is hands down the best country concert I've been to. It more of a show like some of the other bands mentioned on here. It doesn't really sound like his CD's, its way more rockin. I'm glad he's finally getting some recognition, he's stolen the show from everybody he's opened for.

One of these things is not like the others.

Prince at the Nashville Arena.

The Police at Churchill Downs.

U2 - multiple venues on multiple tours. The stop at Vandy was great.

Elvis Costello at the Ryman multiple times.

Surprisingly enough, it was a good concert. I was dragged there by the gf and enjoyed it.

Underneath all of the crazy outfits is actually a pretty talented person. Came upon some of her pre Gaga material and was blown away. Not many pop stars these days can perform without the auto tune and studio tricks.

My opinion as well. She can actually sing and has talent...unlike Kesha or Spears or any other pop ''singer".

Great to hear! Thanks for the info, I'm pumped!

saw GnR in Nashville this past Sunday. Slash or not, it was still a hell of a concert.

DMB puts on a really good show.

My favorite band, Friendly Fires, has put on awesome shows both times I've seen them. They're a band that is really into what they do.
