If this is the case, there had to be some serious head butting going on behind the scenes between Bobby and David Williams.

When I first heard the news, David Williams was my first thought of why Johnson is leaving.

David Williams is a good guy. He believes that the Vandy student-athletes are just that-students first and athletes second....a distant second, like Ivy League schools.

The problem is, that Vanderbilt is a member of the predominant football conferences in collegiate football and you need athletic dollars to help support your team.

Vandy should go ahead and put in its application to join the Ivy League if this is the case.
