A better strength of schedule? Isn't that the whole point of the argument?

At this point, the only way Boise will play for the title is to go independent and work on getting a better schedule. With Utah and byu leaving the mwc, joining the new conference doesn't really help unless Nevada sustains some real success (unlikely) and TCU stays the course (probable).

hell the WAC is already better then the Big east..

Hell if Tennessee would have beaten 2 of the top 25 after 4 games you all would be screaming "WHY AREN'T WE RANKED!!!"
instead you guys are saying VT and OS suck and didn't belong in the top 25 anyways.
all because Boise St. beat them.

I personally think Oregon St will end up in the top 25 by seasons end. They usually do.

I don't know exactly what you're ranting about now, but...

Sorry, bud. I don't like it anymore than you do, I personally think it's stupid to have over 50 teams in D-IA that theoretically have no shot at all to play for the national title, but that's the way it goes. Say Boise goes undefeated with their toughest game being a home tilt against OSU, then you've got two or three other teams from the Big Ten, Pac-10 and SEC that are undefeated or one loss. The difference is the other teams did that playing teams at least as tough as OSU perhaps four to six times in that season.

The only way I could see Boise making it in (or any other non-AQ team) is to go undefeated, have a minimum of two wins over teams that are ranked by seasons end and for all of the teams from Pac-10, Big XII, Big Ten, SEC to have at least two losses.

What makes winning taste so great is times like now. The pain, disappointment, heartbreak....Waking up early Sunday morning still hungover from yesterday's loss. I am 25 years old and have been a fan since 1995(I was 10, attended my first game). I know NOTHING ELSE, being raised in East Tennessee their is NOTHING ELSE. I attended UTK and have many great memories. After graduating I got a job in Toledo, Ohio home of the Rockets, it has been 3 years and I STILL CANNOT root for them. I feel dirty, like I have just cheated on my fiance.

Bleeding Orange does not mean you have to be an alum or lived in East Tennessee, it means you love them to a fault. WIN OR LOSE "You will give your all for Tennessee", you take the **** from opposing fans, you defend. You throw your remote and break it in 100 pieces when 13 men are on the field, but even then you STILL BLEED ORANGE. NO COACH OR PLAYER(s) are bigger then the UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE. I would give my left nut to run through the "T" just once.

My fiance is now the say way, she is from here and her parents are ND alum.

It hurts like hell to know where we are as a program, it hurts to lose. But we are TENNESSEE and we will win, and when we do everything we are going through makes it that much sweeter. I am FOREVER A VOL.

We are TENNESSEE.

Just admit it. the Colts would be NOBODIES on this forum if PEYTON didn't play for them...hell PEYTON couldn't even beat the gators..and after last week...he still can't beat Florida.
you guys tend to forget PEYTON had TONS of talent that made him what he was a UT. He didn't do it alone.

Have you ever looked at a map?

I'd like to know how you ended up cheering for Idaho, Tennessee and Maryland. Highly doubt you've attended either school and none are anywhere near one another.

By the way... Oregon jumped Boise State and we're only five games in. Boise State's schedule will continue to get worse. They have no shot of going over a one loss team unless they're the only undefeated team left.

P.s. TCU will go over them if both teams are undefeated.

Cheering for one university you never attended wasn't good enough so you started cheering for the team with a gimmick field.

How about the Ravens? You didn't cheer for them as the Browns. You cheered for them when they became the Ravens and went to the Super Bowl.
