And you know this as fact how?

Because a fence isn't some deadly, full stop, lock up your daughters, death star trench run.

They've been smuggling drugs under, over and around the wall for years.

You can't be so naive as to believe that the 'bad hombres' would be deterred by a fence.

LOL

Agreed.

The wall needs motion activated machine guns on it.

I've given up on the conservative movement and I'm far more of a pragmatic libertarian than anything.

I just don't think a wall is going to do what Trump and his fans think it will. It certainly will not keep out drugs and rapists. It will probably be most effective against those searching for a better life in America for themselves and their children. The drug gangs and other criminals will always find a way in.

This.......

Drugs have always and will always get into the country. This wall is a symbol of finally closing the border to illegal immigration not about drugs. If we did reduce the amount of drugs coming in that would increase the price and we would all be out looking to replace our car radios.

Pretty expensive symbol if you ask me. Money that could be better used in border patrol enforcement.

I trust the qualified opinion of the National Border Patrol Council and their President

I'm envisioning a chain link fence for 95% of the length as the end result and Trump still declaring victory on Twitter. Lol

He could sell the sycophants on the victory of setting up motion sensors attached to lawn sprinklers and calling it a wall.

I hired a really nice guy to do an outdoor fireplace and outdoor kitchen. His work was awesome and it looks great. Cleaned up his mess every day. It was blocks and stone work over the blocks. I was extremely pleased.

Good for you. Your outcome is not everyone's. And some folk don't know the difference between best, better, fair. They usually can recognize poor unless it's a bad mortar mix that won't rear it's head for a while. Laying brick in a twenty foot high endwall of a big box store is different than complex detail work with specials done in upscale residential work. One is work. The other could be considered art.
