A win over Arkansas is more impressive than anything the next 6 teams in front of us can possibly do, they had no issues vaulting Wisconsin above teams after their win even though teams in front of them didn’t lose. We will see what happens but I definitely think a win moves us up at least 2 spots without any losses ahead of us.

I don’t get how Wisconsin got a huge bump from beating Purdue but it seems like we didn’t get anything from beating Auburn. What gives?

I might be in the minority on this one, but I liked it better when they didn't do a reveal. I know people love transparency, but I always loved the mystery leading up to the Selection Show. Now it's like you snooped around in early December and found all your Christmas presents mom stuffed in the attic. If they keep adding in more reveals, it will suck all the magic out of Selection Sunday.

Wisconsin would be a 4 seed based on an average of Teamsheet rankings. I doubt they’re a 2 seed

Not to be cynical, but I think it’ll take a win tomorrow and a head to head win against Auburn or KY in the tournament to ensure a 2. Winning the tournament through some other path gets us there too, of course. I just don’t think tomorrow’s slate gives us much room to climb. Best shot is KY at UF.

I think we have to win out until the SEC tourney championship. And even then, if the teams ahead of us make runs in their conference tournaments we might not be able to jump to a 2 seed. A lot of different scenarios to wait out. Winning the championship game hasn’t seemed to mean a whole lot in the past in terms moving up or down the seed line.

I think it all depends on the matchups. If a 3 seed provides us with better matchups over the 2 seed, I’ll be more than fine being on that 3 seed line on selection Sunday. The one thing I am praying doesn’t happen is that we get sent out to the west. Which is why I’m skeptical of being a 2 seed at 8 overall.

I’d say that’s more likely to happen if we’re a 2 assuming we aren’t one of the top 2 seeds

If we won the championship, we’d have beaten a current 4 at home and probably one, or two, 2 seeds on a neutral court. That’s substantial.

It would be big. But if we’re gonna be a 2 seed I hope it’s at the lowest the number 7 overall seed. I’m really hoping UConn goes on a run in the Big East tournament and knocks off Villanova and Providence. Then hopefully Texas Tech gets put out early or maybe OK State can pull one off for us tonight. I’d feel better about moving up if we weren’t a victim of the head-to-head with TTU and Nova.
