No, it’s if the selection were held today. The auto bid is based on the quality metrics just for the purpose of selecting the field. The seed list is if the selection were held today based on an average of quality and resume metrics from the NCAA’s Teamsheets.

Lunardi is bad at his job, but there are a lot of bracketologists that are undervaluing A&M and overvaluing other teams. However, it won't matter. A&M beat Arkansas and will definitely make the tournament now.

The biggest mystery is how Xavier is still in according to so many. They've been truly awful for 2 months.

But if they lose tomorrow, their quad 1 would be at 4-10 still and idk if that will be enough.

Which is really sad, because this is clearly a Tournament Team at the moment in how they are playing.

Joe Lunardi is an idiot. He's already said that A&M's win today only moves them up to the 2nd "First Four Out" team. Yeah, that's just not true. They're in. It's a weak bubble. This is where the anti-SEC basketball bias starts to seep through with some of these bracketologists.

Unfortunately, I think we are a 3 seed regardless of what happens the rest of the way. Even another UK win wont have us jump the few teams ahead of us. Also, I really dont think they would have 3 SEC teams as 2 seeds. Sounds silly, but its the truth. They arent moving UK or Auburn to the 3 line.

That’s what I was talking about, if they lose the SEC championship and don’t make it in then that’s a straight crime. People can say they “should” be in, but these bracketologists are awful sometimes

If Tennessee wins this tournament, a big if, they’re a 2-seed. It’s pretty simple. Our resume is more impressive than Auburn’s already. Winning the entire tournament would only bolster it. They’re not going to put two teams ahead of us that both failed to win the conference tournament.
