I think I saw a stat where they had only trailed something like 97 seconds in their 3 games in the SECT. aTm is a good team, and much more deserving of a spot in the NCAAT than someone of the teams currently ahead of them.

Yeah, Michigan has a NET that is artificially inflated by their Big 10 affiliation, but that record and early exit have to work against them at some point.

Selection is much different the consensus brackets have us about 7th-8th.

Several teams are done, their resumes will not improve past this point.

Like I just talked about 11 Quad 1 wins and 18 Quad 1 games is nearly unrivaled

Zaga and Ariz are in clearly.

Kansas if they win tonight probably clinch a 1

But I think Baylor is passable and Kansas if they lose

If we hold onto this, I deadass do not see a better resume than Tennessee. We won’t be a 1 seed, but it’s honestly a bit crazy we aren’t, with the wins we have (along with having zero bad losses).

Totally agree, and think they should be a 2 seed... HOWEVER, I think committee makes them a 3 with UK and Auburn as 2s. Only bc they've been up there all year. Its crappy, but it is what it is.

We are firmly a 2 seed right now there is no question in my mind, if we win tomorrow we should have an outside chance at a 1 seed

Auburn is more likely a 4 now than a 2. We are a 2 with a shot at a 1, and honestly the resume of a 1 if we win tomorrow.

I just cant see them putting Vols ahead of UK AND Auburn... Even with recent wins vs both. Committee says they don't put significance on final 10 games anymore. Don't be shocked if we are a 3 tomorrow. Most Bracketologists still have us as a 3.

I think we are a solid two. Tomorrow’s game won’t have a bearing on it because they will pick before the end of the game if I remember correctly.

Tennessee is #1 in SOS
Kentucky is #5 with the same amount of losses and TN won twice H2H
Auburn is like 25th or something but does have 2 less losses but Tennessee won head to head.

UT 10-7 Q1
UK 9-7
AU 8-4 (with an additional Q2 loss)

Auburn is unlikely to survive their NET ranking

This is where having no losses outside of Q1A is huge. The committee is doing the bulk of their work prior to the outcome of the game tomorrow and I’d have to guess won’t be putting much weight into the outcome of that game. We have 10 Q1 wins and that alone locks us in as a 2 seed.

Ok, if you say UM is carried by their NET than what’s the argument for Rutgers. With those two teams the media is arguing both sides of the coin.

I don't care what anyone says, if we win tomorrow there are not 4 better resumes than Tennessee's. Stop looking at how many losses we have. That isn't the determining factor. We've beaten Kentucky twice, Arizona, Auburn, Arkansas, LSU, etc.

If Kentucky is worthy of a #1 seed, we sure as hell are. We might not get it, but we deserve it.

I feel like if Kennedy plays against Bama, which in all likelihood results in a win, we’d be a 1 no discussion. Also would be SEC regular season champs
