Bubblegeddon Has Begun.

A little bit of wishful thinking on your part, but obviously getting to the semis would ensure it.

Tells you something about the SEC when, going into last night's game we had a chance to fin ish second in the SEC and now with that loss and one more coming up we are a bubble team for the tournament!

Right now, assuming the loss to Kentucky, I think you need to get to the semis. I think the State/Florida second round game may be a de facto play in game.

The simple solution for you guys is to go into Rupp and win. :)

Mississippi State HAS to be done now, barring a SECCG appearance, I'd have to believe.

I'm not about to call it, but I wouldn't feel too confident about Cal's ability to string enough decent games together to win the conference tournament. Don't be shocked if they lose; they've still probably played their way in, somehow I I picture the Pac-10 getting two teams in the field this year.

I honestly don't know. The Pac-10 has been impossible to predict this year outside saying "Cal will fare relatively well." Arizona State, Washington, Arizona... Heck Stanford? I'll just say Cal and whoever else is left standing.

our depth isn't very good though the same can be said for the rest of the pac-10 i suppose. we coudl win the pac-10 tourney if we roll the early games so that randle can rest. 3 games in 3 days isn't easy for cal since we play a lot of minutes for our main guys and play uptempo. we even seem to have problems with the second game of a roadtrip. montgomery is also notorious for not caring about the pac-10 tourney. i think ASU has a decent chance. As does UW. Cal will make the ncaa tourney even if it loses in hte first round IMO.

Cal is the only team locked for the NCAA. Any other team winning the Pac 10 Tourney will eliminate a team bubble team like Ga Tech.

i think if asu sweeps the LA schools and goes to the pac-10 tourney final they could get an at large. but i assume they'd need cal to win the tourney since i doubt they'll let in 3 pac-10 teams. of course i'd put good money on USC to beat ASU tonight. bad matchup for them.
