Bubblegeddon Has Begun.

Look at the post a little closer. The part in blue is what I was referring to. ND is in the dance.

I know what you were referring to, but I don't think ND is in the dance. Their OOC schedule blows, their conference record blows and their best player is half available.

currently most have them as an 11th seed. early exit in the conference tourney and they aren't going to make it.

They win against UM on saturday and the conference tourney will not be a factor at all, they will be in. Either way I still think they are in.

Yeah, nonconference losses to Northwestern and Loyola Marymount are the stuff locks are made of.

So are you saying they are out?? I think we both can agree this year is a little different.
I'm saying if they lose Saturday, they can start NIT preparation. A win gives them a shot, but not a good one.

Even with a loss Saturday if they make a deep run in the tourney they will be in. A loss on Saturday and an early exit in the Big East tourney and they are done.

They have no shot of making it past the quarters in the Big East Tournament. If they lose Saturday, they can save money and skip the trip to New York.

I can't imagine a scenario, short of a Big East Tournament title, that gets UCONN in now.

Arizona State finishes whooping up on UCLA, and they make it to the Pac-10 title game; are they in at-large?

Could be. It's a testament to the sorry options when wins over UConn and Marquette are viewed as cementing type.

There will be no discernable difference between the last five in the field and the first fifteen seeds in the NIT.

Field is shabby from top to bottom IMO. Even the 3 elites have big issues.
