After nearly 4 weeks of BS, maybe the morons have finally found their guy. Of course, the idiots on the other side will cry, bitch and moan as much as they possibly can no matter who the speaker is.

Yep. That’s why conservatives need to move past the idea that nominating a moderate Republican would unite the country. The R next to the reps name makes them evil in the eyes of the MSM and many democrat voters.

If the party feels a moderate Republican is the way to go, so be it. But I hope they don’t fool themselves into thinking anyone with an R next to their name will bring unity. That ship has sailed.

Franklin must be from Louisiana. Such a proud day. Johnson is an extremist and was a very prominent election denier, and an abortion christian crazy
of the first rank. Nothing he and his ilk push will ever get passed by the Senate, so there is that. Clearly, the GOP freak show got tired of the embarrassment and dysfunction and just elected somebody.
