Charges Dropped in the Jussie Smollett Case

Blacks have been told for years that their lot in life is due to racism. Therefore, they believe it. For years, there was truth in that. Nowadays, I don't think they can pass the blame as easily. Is everyone born with an equal chance to succeed? Of course not. Life isn't meant to be fair.

The best thing to do is to suck it up, and take advantage of your opportunities, not blame others for your failures.
Lol!

Kaps cause is a hoax too. Name an innocent person that he’s protested for?
If you die at the hands of a cop at the time you are arrested, then you are still innocent until proven guilty by the court of law. It is not the job of the cops to play judge, jury and executioner on the streets.

I would say that in many instances, they are forced to.

virtually all arrests are not situations where the target is facing the death penalty (judge, jury, executioner). However, if you're reaction (target) is considered a legit threat of deadly force then the cops are indeed judge jury and possibly executioner (depending on aim) by law.

mistakes are made to be sure but cops are legally allowed to respond to perceived lethal force directed against them. when it's clear such threats were not present then cops are convicted. the gray area in between favors cops.

this guy is apparently threatening a lawsuit against the city . What a douche bag.

I think he has no choice. An innocent person wouldn't just walk away and say "we're all good". Even OJ vowed to find the real killers! Initially JS let it all good and people started pointed out "uh, shouldn't you be suing and demanding the attackers be found" or if he thought the brothers attacked him then seek restitution from them.

They just gave him the shovel... and it looks like he is going to start digging. This will be fun to watch.

Maybe it's already been talked about, but can charges be refiled, or has double jeopardy already been attached with dismissal?
