I think this needs to be fully investigated and the president was right to jump in. I can understand dropping the charges, if they think its a waste of time/money, but he must admit to what he did? No way the case is sealed, too important an issue to hide what happened. I mean all they did is provoke an intense investigation from all directions which will end when all the facts are finally leaked one by one. Would have been easier just to fess up and have the DA explain what happened.

If corruption prevents justice from being served there needs to be check to correct the issue. Nobody said he should be served the death penalty.

agreed. there is pretty much no way it goes well.

it won't change anyone's mind. someone will resent him for it, right or wrong. and at worst he is harping on someone who may end up being found innocent. unlikely in this case, but the possibility is there.

I'm okay with it being investigated. I too am suspicious of it.

But why is it a federal matter? That seems a stretch. Of course Trump weighs in on it because he is enjoying the speculation about who caused it.

Wow. Absolutely amazing. Thats is the most complete collection of damning evidence that i have ever seen or heard of. Apparently, the nigerians rolled on him, too...so they have testimony from pussboys accomplices as to what they were told to do in this hoax.... thankfully, with a case like that, i believe the feds will nail his arse to the wall for this, and fed time is 85% served, as well as mandatory minimums. He will be the happiest girlfriend ever

How many local police matters did Obama's justice department investigate? I seem to remember quite a few.

You are the lawyer but my understanding is the only thing left to charge him with is mail fraud for sending the threat letters to himself, a federal crime.
