I could write a novel about the pure lunacy it would take to believe LSU is paying their next head coach $2.7 million and just so happened to interview that said coach in the middle of the College World Series. How is anyone over there taking that seriously? Are LSU fans really that stupid?

I don’t want to sound like Y9 but he needs to win more/longer before I make him the highest paid coach in the country by a mile. The 2nd highest guy wouldn’t even be close to $2.7M. I get the idea of your value is whatever someone is willing to pay you but I’m just not doing it. When I see Sully making less than $1.5M (prior to whatever he may get now) with 7 CWS, 2 title games and 1 ring, I’m not paying a guy with 1 CWS and 1 regional almost 2x that.
