Crime Ridden Memphis

You can get shot at the mall and taken to the hospital to be informed before you go into surgery that your car was stolen off the mall parking lot.
This hyperbole is getting out of hand, so it's time I spoke up.

There's not a chance in hell you'll be notified about your car being stolen, even if the MPD is aware of that. You're car is just as likely if not more likely to get stolen from the hospital. if you're gonna use scare tactics to warn people off, do it right. This just isn't a good town to get shot.

And then…

He was then taken to Juvenile Court and charged with carjacking, attempted intentional killing of an animal, aggravated robbery, employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, theft of property $1,000-$2,500 and evading arrest on foot.

And then released to his grandmother.

And then released to his grandmother.

He’s 17!!! He didn’t know any better. The laws must be relaxed for minors because they do not fully comprehend the consequences of their decisions.

Now of course if instead of shooting at cops, he wanted to merely chop off his penis and identify as a woman from here on out, well that’s totally fine. He’s mature enough to do that and fully understands his decision.

The DOJ came to town many moons ago to point out there were too many black boys down at Juvenile. So the City of Memphis stopped sending them to Juvenile.

The result of this action has been nothing short of an absolute delight.

Now the DOJ is coming back to town in light of the Scoripon Unit v Tyree Nichols catastrophe. Can’t wait!

At Wednesday County Commission meeting, one of the ordinances on the agenda was one that would “disband and discontinue future use of all Memphis Police Department specialized units and task forces and end participation in multi-jurisdictional and multi-agency task forces.”
This should have wonderful effect.

I don't necessarily agree that it destroys the political narrative. It's still a blatant abuse of authority, which has always been the core issue of American law enforcement for the past 30 years.

It’s been the core issue of the American political system for about 230 years.

Over/Under for his age when he is charged with his first murder? I would set the Over/Under at 14 years and 165 days.
