A Marxist professor who was recently fired from her university in Canada after "enraging the mob" explained to Fox News Digital why she believes identity politics have destroyed left-wing political thought by distracting from economic problems.

Frances Widdowson taught economics, justice and policy studies at Mount Royal University (MRU) in Calgary, Alberta, from 2008 until she was fired last December after more than 6,000 people signed a petition calling her a "racist professor" and demanding her termination.

Widdowson, who said MRU "began to take on an ideological character" in 2016 with the rise of "wokeism," stoked outrage among students and faculty in 2020 when she said BLM activists had "destroyed MRU" to such an extent that she "doesn’t recognize the institution anymore."


Widdowson described herself to Fox News as "a historical materialist, which comes out of the theoretical side of what would be called Marxism; so, a left-wing person."

"I see many of the problems being faced by people as due to economic circumstances, not all these identity politics claims that are currently being made by trans activists, Black Lives Matter activists, gender feminists and so on," she explained, adding that BLM is an example of what Thomas Sowell called "race hustlers."

An Ohio State University student leader is facing criticism from other students for a comment he made during a student government meeting in March, stating that he'd "love" to live in a world where "Black people were taught that they are superior."

John Fuller, who was parliamentarian of the Ohio State University Undergraduate Student Government General Assembly at the time of the meeting, made the comments while presenting a resolution aimed at condemning all anti-critical race theory legislation, according to OSU's student newspaper The Lantern.

Wow. Talk about dangerous to free speech. There are other platforms to use as search engines. Cell phones seem to all use google as a default platform for whatever reason.

You know I've told you guys how Google keeps asking for my birth date. I think I'll just put in some phony random date.

Harvard University is setting aside $100million for an endowment fund and other measures to close the educational, social and economic gaps that are legacies of slavery and racism, the university´s president has said.

The email from Lawrence Bacow included a link to a 100-page report by his university´s 14-member Committee on Harvard and the Legacy of Slavery.

The panel was chaired by Tomiko Brown-Nagin, a legal historian who is dean of Harvard's interdisciplinary Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study.

The report laid out a history of slaves toiling on the campus and of the university benefiting from the slave trade and industries linked to slavery after slavery was outlawed in Massachusetts in 1783 - 147 years after Harvard´s founding.

But as part of its mission to purge the catalogue of 'race-based' language, the academy told DailyMail.com it was reviewing the 20-page guidance and aimed to retire it 'as expeditiously as possible', and within this year.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warns jaundice may be harder to recognize in black infants because of their darker skin color.

It tells doctors to check gums or inner lips for the condition, and test black infants for the condition if they are concerned.

It was not clear whether the paper would be replaced, but last year guidelines on treating urinary tract infections that were retired for containing the phrase 'non-black race' were not re-instated.

The AAP yesterday committed to scrutinize its 'entire catalogue' for 'race-based' language, including guidelines, educational materials, textbooks and newsletter articles.

Hair loss is far more common among men than women, so using the term is “inherently related to sex” — and equivalent to commenting on the size of a woman’s breasts, the employment tribunal said, according to the UK Telegraph.

The finding — made by three judges who lament their own lack of locks in the judgment — came in the case of an electrician, Tony Finn, who sued a small Yorkshire-based family business over the term.

JPMorgan, Goldman, Ford, others to disclose directors’ Race and Gender

Four top Wall Street firms and Ford Motor will start to disclose the race and gender of individual directors under deals reached with New York City pension officials, the city’s comptroller, Brad Lander, said on Thursday, while a utility company has pushed back on the idea.

According to a representative for Lander, the companies, which include JPMorgan Chase, BlackRock, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs in addition to Ford, will provide the self-identified disclosures on race, ethnicity and gender.

Such person-by-person disclosures are becoming more common as tables in annual corporate proxy statements as companies look to show investors their concerns for boardroom and workforce diversity.

That’s not what the article was talking about . He wasn’t suing because he was called a “ fat bald cu—-“ he claimed that it was sexual harassment, which is why this is ridiculous.
