I agree champy. It's not Votto's fault he was offered a stupid deal. Also like the Cueto deal. They have been woefully short in LHP talent. There's more dealing to do though.

But let's get real here - Votto is so great nobody will trade for him when he was offered this past off season and the off season before. Nobody would take him without the Reds eating much of his comp. Not even his beloved Toronto. Braves trolls - for your benefit I will say it again - nobody. Not your team, not any other MLB team. That's how great he has been. Why should they? He's only had one great season 5 years ago.

When he gets back to 35/100+ with his .375-.400 OBP and getting the clutch hits consistently like he did last night for several years in a row like Miggy, Albert, etc. - then you can say he is great. Then maybe your team will trade for him. Please.
