the only qualification that matters is electability.

she isn't either of the two currently running. that alone will carry her.

a lot of people will give her credence simply because she was Obama's wife and they looked favorably upon him. for whatever reason.

I mean, Obama shares in it too. So does W and Clinton, TBH. An economy is decades in the making and the policies have all been pretty similar. Emphasis on heavy spending. Rollback some regulations. Create some new regulations. Get in bed with big corporations. Bailouts. Subsidies and handouts. Protectionism. Easy money. Inflationay policy. None of these guys are actually doing anything meaningful to improve the economy. They are all slowing growth in the long run, but the people persevere.

But they would have done something else inflationary, like pressuring the fed to keep interest rates artificially low (which Trump did, and it's come back to bite us).

Protectionism, free money, huge increases in government spending, etc. Trump gave us inflation. For the purposes of discussing this election, Trump shouldn't have **** to say to Biden about inflation.

I believe in accountability, personally. I think you do too, you just don't know what deserve means. I think you mean that we all get a little fraction of blame. I don't deserve a horrible outcome unless I did bad things to cause it.

No, the chaos was idiocy like his return to the WH from the hospital after covid, like he was in some gladiator movie. Or his theatrics in Europe. Or walking to the church by clearing the protestors.
