Derek Chauvin trial

Nope. I haven't - not that interested. Just my observations from the fact that a cop held a drug addled guy on the ground for several minutes, and no one in an official capacity seemed to be involved until time came to duck and cover. Typical bureaucratic behavior in action - a big disconnect between the blunt end and the sharp end of the stick. One end doesn't know (or really care) what the other end does unless things go wrong, and then there's a lot of "No, no, that's not how we do things." And from the other end "You wouldn't know because, you've never been here - or at least not in recent history."

"Several minutes"

Yeesh.

You really haven't need paying attention.

You have a specific definition for "several"? "Several" generally means more than a few and less than a lot.

I've always considered it to be three, possibly four. Chauvin had his knee on Floyd for nine and a half.

You're welcome, now you won't look silly minimizing the length of time it too Chauvin to choke the life out of Floyd.

Whatever. The definition of "few" that I learned was probably less that half a dozen, and "several" could easily encompass 10. Maybe the definition has changed with time. Get over it. Ten has been repeatedly covered here and abroad, so no great secret.

Lol, you tried to minimize Chauvins actions and whiffed.

Only "slightly" more petty than me pointing out you don't know what several means. That is if "slightly" means "a lot" to you.

The explanations of levels are located in the autopsy report. There’s no need to convert anything, it’s all there, Including meth levels and the metabolites.
You are making something more difficult than it need be.
I’m not digging that deep for info on this case lol

Several doesn't solely mean three or four. The term several varies it's meaning based on context and compared total. Several is defined as more than three and less than most. In the context of minutes, the compared total could easily be out of one hour or 60 minutes, therefore, several is applicable to GFs time-line. This is such a sophomoric thing for you to harp on but it's on par for you.

'Couple,' 'Few,' and 'Several': The (Mostly) Definitive Guide

By the 1600s, however, several had come to refer to an indefinite number that was not large.

So YOU could use "several" like it's the same number as a few and ANYONE else can use it to mean 10.

This post has so much ignorance I feel obligated to ignore it and move along.
Yep. You should probably start sending angry letters to the CDC, NIH, and Mayo Clinic for their ignorant and obviously systematically racist White Supremacist science!

Can’t dispute any of this because it’s the clinical picture I see in ICUs and acute care.

You Haven't watched the trial - you're not that interested you say. You're just interested enough to post incendiary comments based on the biases of your life experiences. You're interested in stoking flames. You can lead an ignoramus to facts but you can't make him learn. This forum is full of people just like that making achieving unity damn near impossible.

Here's some testimony from the medical examiner who conducted the autopsy

On Friday, Hennepin County chief medical examiner Andrew Baker, who performed the county autopsy, took the stand. In documents last year, Baker described the “fatal level of fentanyl” in Floyd’s system and told federal investigators that if the victim was “found dead at home alone and no other apparent causes, this could be an acceptable overdose.” Baker also cautioned, “I am not saying this killed him.”

During cross examination, Baker clarified further. When the defense asked Baker whether fentanyl could have caused the abrasions on Floyd’s lung that were revealed during the autopsy, Baker said that underlying health conditions were “contributing” and not “direct causes” of Floyd’s death.

“In my opinion, the law enforcement, subdual restraint, and the neck compression was just more than Mr. Floyd could take by virtue of those heart conditions,” Baker said.

9 minutes and 29 seconds was the length of time Chauvin "took a knee" to Floyds neck. Floyd died minutes before that as was evidenced by the two facts that he stopped breathing and his bladder emptied.

Other medical experts were more damning of Chauvin's actions. The defense tried to lay off drug use as the cause of death with them too. Not true each said.

The defense will bring in their own medical experts when its their turn of course. But those "expert' people will be the Sydney Powell equivalents of the medical profession.

Oh and that "unruly crowd" the 4 cops were afraid of?. Looks on the video like about 6 people one of whom was a passing by EMT who was LOUDLY begging them ro let her treat Floyd. She stopped begging when she say Floyd's body piss the ground

"Protect and Serve"

Chauvin is guilty as hell as are his co-conspirators. What will the Jury find? Well if it's made up of people like you and other's on this Forum it's a coin toss as to whether justice will be served IMO

What race is most likely to have atrial fibrillation, ALS, cystic fibrosis, osteoporosis, aortic aneurism, Barrett’s esophagus, bladder cancer, endometriosis, IBD, melanoma, MS, macular degeneration, spina bifida, Crohn’s disease, or testicular cancer?

Like I said, your stance is ignorant and doesn’t deserve the attention you’re seeking. Enjoy.

yes this is a good point, I have seen a lot of that here. They aren't paying attention to the trial

So to counter his point, that you call so ignorant, you make the same point but with a different race? Odd choice.

Here's the source of your article. Tgis is an excellent example of why you guys hated the MSM so much. Your news sources deny facts and print their version of reality (lies) they know you want to hear. You know like the invaders of the Capital building were really Antifa even though those arrested were mostly Proud Boys and other white supremist groups as is your news source. You can try to hide it behind the face of Jesus but you relly can't

History[edit]
Western Journalism
was founded in 2008 by political consultant Floyd Brown, who also founded the Political Action Committee Citizens United[2] and served as executive director of the Young America's Foundation.[3]

The site was acquired by Liftable Media, Inc. in 2014,[4] which also owns the political opinion websites Conservative Tribune and Liberty Alliance,[4] and the human-interest website Liftable.com.[5] It also owns and provides content to dozens of conservative Facebook pages.[6]

Newsweek reported that the site has grown from receiving 1,000 page views a day in 2009[2] to more than 1 million during 2016.[7]

The company responded changed its name in 2018 to The Western Journal, hiring trained copy editors, and introducing a corrections page.[6] The New York Times reported in 2019 that the site has more than 36 million readers and followers on Facebook.[6]

Controversy[edit]
Western Journalism previously stated it featured "conservative, libertarian, free market and pro-family writers and broadcasters"[8] and seeks to provide "God-honoring" content.[4] In practice, according to the New York Times, this philosophy, in which "tradition-minded patriots face ceaseless assault by anti-Christian bigots, diseased migrants and race hustlers concocting hate crimes," results in "a torrent of sensationalized, misleading, or entirely made-up stories, often aimed at Muslims and immigrants."[6] Because of negative rulings by fact-checking sites and user trust surveys, Western Journalism was blacklisted by Google and Apple News, and by 2017 its Facebook traffic declined to near zero.[6]

In a 2016 story on how fake news spreads on social media, The Intercept reported that: "Thanks to views sourced largely to referrals from Facebook, Brown's websites now outrank web traffic going to news outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, CBS News, and NPR, according to data compiled by Alexa".[9]

In February 2019, The Western Journal published an article which alleged "Climate Change ‘Heat Records’ Are a Huge Data Manipulation." Scientists criticized the article, saying it was deceptive and that it contradicted existing research. The Western Journal subsequently retracted the article.[10]

Yes after reading 64’s comments I wanted to go burn down my town. ( extreme sarcasm )
What unity do you seek pg? Forced unity doesn’t work. Holding something above someone’s head and saying if you don’t support us here is the consequences. That’s not unity, it’s exacting conformity under duress.
64 is correct in his synopsis of everyone is covering their butts right now and it’s apparent. For a chief to deny training that is used and documented in academy is covering his ass and the departments. The prosecution is covering their asses by bringing in coached witnesses that should never be on a stand and quadrupling down on expert testimony cause they just couldn’t get what they wanted with the initial autopsy and ME. You aren’t necessarily getting the truth in a trial you are getting what is allowed in and plenty of theater.
GF Buddy that was in the car with him, not testifying and already acknowledged he will plead the fifth. Covering his own butt and/or not willing to testify about GF actions that day. It is his right.
When the rubber hits the road in these big trials everyone covers their buts because we live in a litigious society. Not sure how many years you have been on this earth, but that’s reality of all situations like this.

So to counter his point, that you call so ignorant, you make the same point but with a different race? Odd choice.
He said “They are the race most susceptible to every form of disease and ailment out there. Except malaria.”

How is it an odd choice to point out exactly how wrong that nimrod statement is?
