Pulled for FSU for two reasons.

1. Randy Sanders and Jay Graham.
2. I could not stand the thoughts of another Alabama team being national champs.

Rooting for the SEC to win a title just so it stays in the conference is like rooting for your ex-wife to marry your cousin so it stays in the family.


I was going for FSU, screw the SEC.

FSU all the way. 90% of my family lives in Jacksonville and Daytona and most of them are gator fans. FSU winning the NC really made my day, because I know everyone are them are pissing and moaning about it.

Did not really pull for either team, but this is kinda where I was. At least some fellow UT alums got a championship ring.

Pulled for Auburn....

#1 - they're in the SEC. If you've been around long enough, you know how the networks used to (and still do) slobber all over Big10 and Pac10 whilst ignoring SEC

#2 - I love the fact that a high school coach has made it this far. Proves most dreams are within reach

#3 - Love their offense / brilliant

#4 - pretty hard for me to pull for a team (FSU) whose QB is accused of what he was. Its bad enough that he won the Heisman, but now the NC and then talks about God at the end of the game. Waaaaaay toooooo typical of this era of ESPN sport fanaticism. Not a racist (think Strong will do great at UTx and hope he does as an example), just a realist. Football is big in Tallahassee and someone paid someone off

This. Can't stand Winston, fought the urge to pull for Auburn, but it was tough. When it was over I was very glad Auburn lost.

Yep. I was hoping for a more heartbreaking way for them to lose but it worked out all the same. Conference still looked good and Auburn loses. Win/win.

I got to thinking what would help Tennessee the most in the future, so NO, I didn't pull for Aubie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........
