Hey, if anyone had the forsight to see where UT would be today, they would have kept Fulmer. But you know what? They didn't. Get over it, move on. This is the hand that is dealt. The crap hole UT is in now, doesn't negate the crap hole Fulmer had let the program fall in to.
Saban is an enigma too me. I don't see it. I was never that impressed with his earlier LSU teams. In fact I'll never forget Sanders burning his DBs. (Saban's forte) Then you had, oddly, Chavis, who couldn't figure out how to stop a back up QB from running QB draws in the SEC champ game. And suddenly it was as if Saban's persona was sprinkled with fairy dust. He absolutely sucked it up in the NFL, comes back and suddenly he can wave his wand and get any recruit he wants. I'm just amazed that kids buy his schtict. Particularly with his reputation of running off kids who don't live up to the star rankings.

Fulmer started this era of mediocrity and it will continue until our Sunbelt Conference is removed next year. UT made a decision not to be competitive in the SEC in December 2005 when the rest of this conference decided to make upgrades in their coaching staffs.
So was there any reason that we couldn't lure Coach Cutcliffe away from Duke. We need someone who has a vested interest in OUR program. Dooley is a bulldog, and his daddy is a bulldog. as crazy as it sounds, I won't lie the thought of intentional sabotage has crossed my mind. I mean how could a Dooley really be this bad.

Dooley is here one more year and then out. I don't care if he wins 8 games, he should still be done. This coaching staff is a joke. Baggett is the only coach to leave...seriously!? After a pathetic season.
He will never lead us to an SEC Championship. Anyone who thinks he will is kidding themselves.
Sad times at UT.
Yes give him a chance, after a couple of more seasons we will be accustomed to the kind of ars stompings that we received under his tenure this season. Then it won't burn so badly because we no longer expect a good football team. I can't see any positive coming out of this for UT and their fans. "just wait till next year". The now too familiar cries of a long dead legendary pogram. Now incapable of being ressurected
