you still haven't pointed out a single 1) thread that states the crazies are the only reason Duke is tough at home. 2) We are simply stating it's one of the many reasons. However, for you to 3) pretend that Shavlik Randolph, Josh McRoberts and Greg Paulus are great players is asinine. 4) No one argued with your statements. The argument stemmed from 5) dickens' hairbrained theory that the crazies are overrated and TBA is a tougher place to play.
Let me guess - you're not an attorney, correct?
1) you mean post, not thread, right? And I've actually pointed out two examples now (including DBake's). But at least one of those posters has now recounted his statement and agreed that the crazies aren't the only reason Cameron is a sig. advantage, which in essence tells me their impact is overrated, which was one of the main points of Dickens' argument.
2) Actually, I was the one who pointed that out. It's somewhere around page 4 of this THREAD.
3) So you're telling me that either every scout in the country and every coaching staff of every top program totally bombed on these 3 players and they were all just damn lucky to have the option of picking where they wanted to play ball. Either that, or K recruited and then played guys who weren't fit to wear the Duke uniform. Either way, you're criticizing him.
4) It certainly appears as if you're arguing with my statements in this thread, and for the record, I'm arguing with yours.
5) By using facts to support his case, he proved it's not so hairbrained. Since Pearl arrived, UT has lost 2 games at TBA, including beating the defending National Champions twice, Memphis once, Texas once, and numerous other highly ranked teams. Over that stretch (in other words, at the moment), TBA might be just about as tough a place to play as Cameron.
Listen, you love Duke, and that's cool. But argue facts with facts or don't argue.
You may choose to not reply to points 1-5 (if I were you, I probably would give up too), but please, answer my question - have you attended a game at Cameron Indoor?
