Electric Vehicles

Of course, you can get a dui on a lawnmower. I was reading about a case where one guy was charged with a dui riding his horse.

Somebody is defensive and making crap up to justify their paranoia and unhealthy attachment to their truck. I swear yall listen to too many bad country songs with your woman banging your dog before leaving you but your truck staying faithful.

I never said anything about taking away your lover, I mean truck, never said anything about limiting it, production, sale, or use of it, and I have stated multiple times the government should stay out of it. Not sure how you and hog got any type of socialist slant out of comments about personal use of inefficient equipment.

Go suck the tailpipe if it means that much to you, I dont care.
What?? Ain't nobody banging happyjoegolferholicvol's dog but happyjoegolferholicvol

We have a 96 F-350 with a 7.3 Power Stroke with (last I looked) 500+ thousand on it.
Dodge used to love stories like that. Someone in their ‘98 Ram with the same 6.7L B that’s racked up 400k miles.

Even if you just sometimes need a truck to haul trash, help someone move, go camping, etc it’s a much better investment and waaaaaayyyyyyy more practical than an EV.
I have had my car for ten years. I can count on one hand the number of times I have needed a truck. And in that case it's much more practical just to rent.

Remember a large chunk of the next generation dont own any vehicle. A growing number arent even getting driver licenses. So a truck is on the wrong side of an EV in terms of their demand.

So sure if ND40 wants to justify a crew cab truck for the three times a year him and the boys roll out to a strip club, go for it. Compensate for whatever you want. The practicalities of things say EVs are going to be the future, and if it takes 20 years to get prepped for them we need to start now and not wait 20 years after demand and technology has passed us by.

We constantly complain that the government doesnt take care of 0ur infrastructure, but as soon as the government rolls put a five billion dollar plan to start supporting that infrastructure people lose their minds.

There is more dumb in this one post than an entire Minneapolis city council meeting.
