Finebaum just said it..

We can beat Georgia
Yep - the chances of UGA playing like that again - especially away from home are damn near zero.
I will not be surprised if Ga Tech beats them.
Not sour grapes, they are damn good - when they want to be.

Finebaum wants to give us another screw job in Athens? Or do we go to Bama and Ole Miss goes to Athens to reset Sankey’s status quo?

I thought the graphic during the game said 53% chance with a loss last night. Not sure. Maybe that was before BYU lost. Im sure that helped some
This is correct, not the 73% mentioned earlier. Kirkstreet said it as well. Lose to Georgia, and were considered a toss up.

@LargeOrange1 I couldn't quote you because you screwed it up.

I just said it was a bold statement. Of course you'd bet you're life savings on a 100% guarantee. Right? Or just tupical hyperbolic BS.

Do you surrender in every phase of life or is this loser mentality limited to football?
Some of us don’t stay drunk on the orange kool aid. I’m happy with our season all things considered. But it’s no surprise we’ve been awful on the road. Last night is a pretty good example. Our coaches have failed to adjust in any road game we’ve played in the sec.

100% guaranteed loss. I've never seen the Vols play so crappy on the road.
You’ve never seen us play worse on the road than we did last night ? It was a 1 score game under 5 minutes to play and we had our opportunities. I would say our effort and execution were far worse against Arkansas this season and Florida last year and obviously USCjr in 2022.

It is probably best now for Texas to win out through SECCG. That would hang an L on Georgia or Alabama and knock out aTm.
Florida could be our best ally next week beating Ole Miss in the swamp.

Teams still in it:

Army: Notre Dame, Navy
SMU: Virginia, Cal, ACCCG (lost to BYU)
Clemson: SCAR (lost to Georgia, Louisville)
Miami: Syracuse, ACCCG (lost to Georgia Tech)
BYU: Az St, Big12CG (lost to Kansas)
Colorado: @Kansas, B12CG (lost to Nebraska, Kansas State)
Oregon: Washington, B1GCG
Indiana: @ OSU, B1GCG?
OSU: Indiana, Mich, B1GCG? (lost to Oregon)
PennSt: @Minnisota, B1GCG? (lost to OSU)
Notre Dame: Army, @ USC (lost to Northern Illinois)
Boise State: MWCG (lost to Oregon)
Wash St: (lost to Boise St, New Mexico) ELIMINATED last night!
Texas: KY, aTm, SECCG? (lost to Georgia)
aTm: Texas, SECCG? (lost to Notre Dame, SCAR)
Georgia: Georgia Tech, SECCG? (lost to Alabama, Ole Miss)
Tennessee: Vandy, SECCG? (lost to Ark, Georgia)
Alabama: @OK, Auburn, SECCG? (lost to Vandy, Tennessee)
Ole Miss: @Florida, MissST, SECCG? (lost to KY, LSU)

18 Teams: I think 3-5 will eliminate themselves (probably Clemson, Colorado, ND-Army game loser, aTm), leaving 1-2 worthy teams on the outside looking in.

Let's take care of business the next 2 weeks! Get a quality win against Vandy who hopefully beats LSU next week.

Our best chance is either Florida beats ole miss in the swamp or southern cal beats ND.
I don’t think the committee is going to penalize the loser of the BIG champ game - nor should they- UNLESS it’s Indiana and they get annihilated by ohio state and again by Oregon in that game.

Just hope we are not playing a SEC team
On the road at night because Heupel does not know how to do that yet. If that is the case I am taking the other team and the points.

I’ll add one more to your list:

Arizona State: BYU, at Arizona

At 8-2, the Sun Devils could play their way into the Big 12 CCG with a victory over BYU, where they would likely face Colorado. The team picked to finish last in the conference in preseason has a very real shot to be its champion.

We showed otherwise less than 24 hours ago…..
On a neutral site with unbiased refs we have a shot. I’m not saying we win. I’m saying Tennessee has flaws but so does every other team in the ncaa. Vols beat Bama who beat Georgia who beat Tennessee. Vols also beat Kentucky who beat Ole Miss. anyone is beatable this year

We have a better resume than Ole Miss. They should be the 5th SEC team. Committee changes their criteria all the time so who knows what they will do.
The loss to Ky AT HOME has to have consequences

Florida may have shot their wad with their LSU game while OM was off. We could use Aub beating aTm & aTm beating Texas also.
