To be fair, I just listened to his comments:
He mentioned the bad blood and called it a miss for Oklahoma. He then said Oklahoma is stuck with Venables for a while. That isn't him saying he is gong to Oklahoma. Still a bad take considering how off-topic it was from the original question.
I've been to Norman...
Knoxville > Norman, I don't care HOW MANY "Dead Presidents' someone waves under your nose...
They don't PRINT enough (and the last 2 years they've PRINTED A LOT!)
It's big time college football. In other words, it's 'what have you done for me lately?' Heupel knows that and that's it's one bad season that makes him afraid to go to Walmart.Heupel is not leaving us for Oklahoma. Lol. Sure they may call but he won't return. He didn't even participate when they brought back the National Championship team
Agree. Not sure why people get so upset by him. I’ve heard him say as much that he is in the attention business and taking advantage of controversy. He alluded to it today when he admitted there was one Monday last season after a particularly wild weekend that he just couldn’t miss the show because it was so crazy. Even though he was scheduled to be somewhere else. He’s an attention hoe and he makes money by being good at it.Correct. He's just trying to get more people interested in his show. CJH isn't leaving anytime soon.
OU has a lot of big oil money. Not as much as TA&M, but a lot--more than the Vols alums could put together. They may try, but he's not leaving. Tennessee is the shortest path to a NC. The NIL is going to kill teams like OK. They just don't have the money to compete. In 20 years OK will be like Syracuse or Army, a former power house that just faded away. Same thing with a lot of top 25 teams. What kind of NIL money is Auburn going to round up? They are a 2nd school in a poor state. Alabama will struggle in the NIL world even if Auburn wasn't a factor.
