Fowler/Herbstreit Should Be Suspended

No, rushing a football field is not at all comparable to jumping into a bull ring or entering a flight line. There's no inherent risk to life or limb on a football field. That's a ridiculous comparison.
Comparing it to jumping in the ring with a dangerous animal....stupid as hell comparison. Furthermore, as is Saban saying his players were scared. The sorry a$$ was strolling through the field as though he was walking in the park.

Fans rushing a football field are putting themselves at risk. Like jumping in the ring with a bull or running down a flight line at an airshow. Dont mind taking the risk, go for it, but, don’t complain when you get clobbered by the crowd or someone running for cover in a uniform.
True, but if he was afraid, why did he pick a girl to slap ? or why didn't just keep his helmet on ?

Though I understand the emotions and elation for the Vols winning that game. But I’m not a fan of people charging the field or court. If it does happen at least let the losing team leave the field. Too many things can go wrong and most don’t get mentioned or seen.

Fowler has always hated Tennessee for whatever reason. Herbstreit has also hated Tennessee for whatever reason. They both should be ashamed of themselves and apologize. ESPN should make them apologize but they won’t.

Fowler and Herbstreit have always been in Saban’s corner and are afraid of Saban. Saban is slowing somewhat and will be gone in a few years but Fowler and Herby will always detest the Vols. As long as we watch them, they will have their format. I say, they both suck. Go Vols.

What are you saying to me. This post of mine was about a Tennessee player.....

I may have misread your post so my apologies. I went back and edited my comment. I thought you were saying the Bama player didn’t play….. so my apologies if I misread.

This has nothing to do with cancel culture, it's simple assault. And I'm still waiting for a plausible theory about what he is actually doing in the video. If it's not a slap/punch then what is it? If the video quality isn't sufficient to prove that it was a slap, then how can it be clear enough to prove that it wasn't a slap? It clearly shows the woman's reaction, which is consistent with the reaction of someone who has been slapped. Why is Bama making him undergo anger management counseling as part of their response to this non-incident?
What is consistent with a slap in the video? The part where she steps back?

She wasn’t in his personal space, he stepped toward her and reached out his arm to hit her when she wasn’t looking at him. She took two more steps after she was hit and turned to look back, with her hand on the back of her head, look again.
Ok. I’ll look again. Just does not appear anything more than a simple hand to face. He must have lightening hands.

That’s wrong. As she passed him by, and was not even looking at him, he stepped toward her and reached his arm out and hit her in the back of her head. After she took another couple of steps past him, she turned, with her hand on the back of her head, to see who hit her.
Again, that’s not what I or anybody needs t wearing orange shades apparently see

The player played and started the game. Here is part of the article so you may want to read it.

Here it is:

Saban felt it wasn’t necessary to suspend him from his program.
"I don’t know how many of you have been in a situation like that. I talked to him. He was scared, I was scared, some of our other players were scared," Saban said.

Bunch of p***ies. They had anxiety before the game then were scared afterwards. Grow some f******* balls. If anything, glad Neyland gives them anxiety and scares them.

I wonder if TN and the victim are watching to let this play out for a reason.

He wasn’t scared, he was vicious.

Who knows. Saban had always been the type to control the narrative w the media to rationalize his decision to play a kid when there is trouble. My frustration is the national media gives him a pass. I wish someone in the media would grow a pair bit for some reason people are intimidated by him.

If you are referring to McCullough, then no we didn’t play him. Try to pay more attention

And McCullough, was an entirely different situation than this one was. A man entered his apartment. She swerved to get out of his way. And McCullough did not play.

I didn't hear it but it doesn't surprise me. It's in line with the liberal media's world view.
How can liberals be thrown under the bus over this?
I am extremely sure liberals are 100% pro-consequences for violence against women.
I know because I am married to one.
My wife is ready to physically confront Burton herself, and God help the young man if she ever does. I watched her deck a 200lb man in a bar one night after he felt her up at the bar. It was glorious. His face was gushing blood. The bouncer actually saved him more hurt when he threw him out.

ESPN is only in it for the ratings. Right now BAMA is their longtime cash cow in the ratings. It's changing, but the Yankees are slow on the uptake about these things.
