Welcome and I do use it, but just the app to track my calorie intake.

I'm in the same boat as slice is right now. I'm 6'1" and I'm down to 172lbs from 215 back in Sept of 2011. Doing p90x has lost me the weight and fast, but now I need to lean up more and lose the middle flab that is left(14% BF as of today). Debating on how to go about this without losing a lot more weight and looking skinnier than I already do. I am half way through my second round of P90x and I have cut out the cardio days. I am doing the three muscle routines and I rotate from core to yoga every other week for a fourth workout. Also doing the stretch weekly for a fifth day and taking off 2 days. Calorie intake is around 2000/day(40% carb/35%protein/25%fat). Any suggestions on how to better alter the p90x routines or food intake to help with my cause would be helpful. Thanks.

Might try doing the core and yoga routine every week eliminating the stretch. 2000 calories seems low if you are trying to add muscle. Maybe add 500 calories of protein. Eliminate all soda, juice, sugar, sweets and fried food from your diet will help trim fat. Just some thoughts

Damn. Not drinking diet coke and replacing it with an unsweet tea Arnold palmer has knocked some extra lbs off. I had always heard, but am surprised it was so fast.

OS wanted me to post in this thread. It's Friday over here now so I guess I will update.

I am on the third world diet at the moment while playing basketball and working out (just in my room) everyday.

I left the States at the very end of July '11 weighing roughly 195. Since there are no scales around here, I presume my weight to be within the 165-155 range. I guess I will take the law of averages and call it 160.

-35 lbs in seven and a half months

Can't complain but I still do. Where are you moving to next?

South Korea for a few days, then back to Atlanta. I have the opportunity to do Japan and China if I really wanted to. A couple of friends are studying abroad this summer in Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, and Tokyo. They want me join them. I wish I could but I just don't have the time. I have business to attend to back home.

So i decided to stay 215 I've continued to eat right but stopped watching the calories and just eat when hungry. 207.8 this morning.

Whatever.

I'm going to jump in here. Started trying to lose weight at the beginning of the year once I hit 250 lbs. Then I got serious about losing weight around the start of February (watching calories in vs calories out, more chicken, fish, less red meat, beer :(, etc). My goal weight is about 185 I think, I'll see how I feel once I get there.

Anyway, starting weight for this thread is officially 234.2 lbs at 6'4".

Welcome aboard. 6.4 185 sounds thin to me. Sounds like you're off to a good start.
