Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

Haven't posted in this thread for a few weeks, mainly because I wasn't making any progress. But, a week on the AT seemed to have the effect I wanted, mostly shrinking my stomach so I felt full after eating less (a lot less!). Weighed in this morning at 210, so I'm down 15 pounds since the beginning of the year. I plan to be at 200 by end of May.
 
Put myself on a diet...lost 8 but now stuck. Hungry at night....like right now. I think my diet may have too many carbs in it, should not be so hungry after eating.
 
New to this party. -3.4 this week to 229.5..... Background. Was at 330# about 6 years ago, got to where I am now the gained 20 or so back. Down 22 in the last 7 months.

you should be at a 70/30% protein to carb split if you're in weight loss mode. I've hit my goal weight and have added a few carbs back in 60/40. maintained 200 last 4 weeks with a manageable lifestyle. I don't feel like I'm on a diet.
The easiest plan to follow is the meal plan that comes with P90X. so easy even a moron like me can follow it.

It breaks fruit, veggies, carbs, protein ect into units. Defines what a unit of each is with examples. And tells you how many units of each to eat each day.

Very simple and easy to follow. The interesting thing was my deit wasn't that far out of wack. It was just out of balance. I feel I can eat this way the rest of my life and not feel like I'm missing out or suffering because of the diet.
