Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

I am way late to this party. Started two weeks ago by cutting out cokes and tea. Also changed eating habit to 5 small meals a day. Started out at

5'10" 327lbs

The goal I have set is by March 1st 2013, I want to be down to 200lbs.

Congrats and good luck. As someone who lost over 100lbs I can tell you it's possible. Soda and tea is a good start. Main thing is eat right and exercise when you can.

Best advice i have is find something to motivate you as a reminder. I put a "fat picture" of me in my car to keep me in line when i thought of going through a drive-thru and didn't buy a new belt until the end of my old one reached the belt loop in the middle of my back.... Just made new holes
 
The easiest plan to follow is the meal plan that comes with P90X. so easy even a moron like me can follow it.

Very true. I started out at 215 in Sept of last year and have been 172-175 for several months now. 2 rounds of p90x and now I'm starting phase 2 of p90x2 this weekend. Eating 2200-2400 calories @ the 40%carb/30%prot/30%fat method they recommend has allowed me to keep weight but I can visibly see the stomach fat has decreased, which is my main goal now. Not even really using the foods they prefer anymore, just keeping the %'s right around their recommendation.

Also using the myfitnesspal app on your phone helps you track through the day. You can keep track of your %'s, as well as other things like types of fat, sodium intake, potassium, carb types, etc. Best food tracking app available, imo.
 
I realize it's not quite Friday, but I'm going to go ahead and check in. It's been a great week as far as my weight loss goes. I surprised myself today when I weighed at 224.4 lbs. That makes 10 lbs in the past month, and 26 lbs since I started.

This means I hit my goal for April of being between 220 and 225. I'll go ahead and set my goal for May now, I'd like to be between 212.5 and 217.5 by June 1st.

Well May has been a wash for me. Graduation parties, going away parties, business trips, etc., all had me off my diet for most of the month. I've hopped back on the train in the past week though.

Today I weigh in at 223.2. I'll go ahead and reset my goal for July 1st to be between 210 and 215. Should be manageable as long as I stay on track.
 
Drove to Fla for vacation and forgot to weigh this am. Rented house scale says 199. Not sure how accurate that is.
 
Congrats to All that are doing something to get into better shape . I dont have to because of the physicality of my job . But people who can change themselves for the better are always inspirational , to the rest of us slobs .
 
Still hoverimg between 215 and 220. Found out I have degeneration in my back so took a few weeks off normal exercising per doc's orders. Back at it tomorrow so I should be sweating again soon. Daughters wedding is June 9th and wife and I want to look good...
 
Not revealing. my weight. just not happy with this + 39+++ body and a birthday soon. my goal is 40 lbs
I'm really a tall girl. not! very short 5'3"and that is on a good hair day

Back on the straight and narrow after vacation.
put on 5 lbs in a week. It will take a month to lose it.
