Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

321.5

Need to be at 305~307 by November 14th for my weigh in for my Powerlifting Meet in Gatlinburg. If not able before the week of, then screw it bc anything over 308 is SHW. I'm gonna eat and feel strong.

Little late in getting this in but...

Started diet Saturday before last. Need to lose at least 24.7 pds (10%) to win bottle of scotch vs a buddy who also is trying to get to 19 pds. I am at 8 pounds in 9 days and want a burger so bad.

Eat the burger then juice for the rest of the week lol

Well I've hurt my shoulder and can't work out the way I used to. So there's a new plan.
Yoga, biking and eating reasonably.

Oh, and I'm old. 48 real soon.

I got all the way to 240 and don't think 210 is a real possibility anymore as I'm a larger framed guy at 6:2.

We will see how it goes.

Back at it Max, you can do it! I haven't weighed in awhile, too afraid to see the number, but I believe I need about 10 lbs off.

It's 80-90% diet. I'm 42yo this month, 6'2" 210lbs (as of this morning) down from 265 in November.

Started at the beginning of March at 226 with a goal of 190. Saturday morning I was at 202.6. It's been rough!

Why wouldn't 210 be real possibility? You were well below that for a long time.

I got up to 238.6. I have started walking and being able to run short distances. I have to get healthier for my kids. I'm now 232. I would love to be down to 170. I'm 5'8

Good numbers posted here...

For me, I started my version of Atkins on Sept 2, 2016... first Vol game. I am down 52 lbs and could easily stop now and go into a maintenance, but I will take it down 10 more to see how I feel. Not much in the way of exercise, just a very good focus on reading labels at the grocery store, and as such, avoiding carbs. So, a lot of fresh salads and a side of protein (pork or chiken or a steak of sorts) at each meal. Key is making sure the salads and veggies are fresh/crisp... excellent flavors.

Good stuff... more folks should give this a whirl... it works and is actually enjoyable.

I got down to 199 last October. Then the holidays hit, then cold weather, then general laziness. I've bounced back up to 218. I'm going to run a half-marathon in October and I want to be around 190 for that.

I'm 6'2 and will be 49 later this month.

Damn all you 6' plus guys!..... I'm 5'10" on a good day and have weighed 218 for the last six years.
I used to lift weights a lot when I was younger so weighing 200+ didn't bother me. I'll be 50 in October and should realistically weigh around 190.

It's a better, free version of weight watchers. I've gone from 206 (3 weeks ago) down to 196 and looking for 185. I did it last year before going on vacation and being overserved. I'm 5'11 and 43. 175 is where the chart says i'm healthy but i think that's too thin..

Seriously, if you guys are looking at losing a little weight, this app calculates your BMR by using your age and height. Tells and tracks your caloric intake enroute to your goal.

I'm 5'6" and 1/2 (that 1/2" is extremely important to me), and weigh (a solid😬) 150!
