Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

I'm 6'0 330.
Goal weight is 300

I've given up chewing my nails, that should help me meet my goal. Good luck to all!
 
Just weighed in at 174. Not sure what my starting weight was I'll have to go back and search. I may have lost a pound. I'll take that in one week, as my primary goal is building muscle and strength. Weight loss is secondary, so I have been feeding my body well, but I have been eating a lot and taking in plenty of protein.
 
My weight isn't moving anywhere either. Part of that is because what started as a get fit program has turned into a GET PUMPED program :)

I've been eating too much, and using too much protein to lose significant weight.
 
Milo, if you ever feel like sharing your thoughts on vegetarian eating, I'd like to hear it.

That's a huge part of it. The main concern with preservatives is huge amounts of unneeded sodium intake. The sodium-potassium imbalance in the average American diet is incredible. There are other parts that tie in with foods high in preservatives, like monoculture food production that ends up stripping foods of nutrients.

My personal goal is to eat more like our great grandparents ate, when diet-based degenerative disease wasn't an issue.
 
Definitely. I bring some with wherever I go, but I also have to drink a lot because I take creatine supplements for working out. Demands a hell of a lot of water intake.

I take creatine as well. Which brand have you found the most effective?
 
I know im a little late to the party but here's my deal....Started out a chunky 217 (6 feet even..). Started running, got down to 159... Got lazy and immediately the weight started coming back.... I'm currently at 184 and target weight is 165 so I guess my baseline is now +19. Will check back in Friday and every Friday hereafter.
