George Floyd was actually an evil man.

The keyword is reasonable. Convincing a jury that a seemingly healthy man had a heart attack from a drug overdose at the exact same moment as him being choked to death is a tall order. A defense attorney is liable to get laughed at for that one.
Healthy man that had three previous ODs and 37 ED visits in 5 years? Lol methinks you don’t know what you are talking about as usual

If toxicology shows drugs in his system along with his erratic behavior and saying he couldn’t breathe before anyone touched him I’d say that could be reasonable doubt. I believe they’ll be charged with something I just don’t think it’ll be murder.
Chauvin is already charged with Murder 2 and Manslaughter. Trial is set for March

Not healthy in the marathon sense. Healthy in the walking on his own, talking, generally among the living sense.

I agree with most that Chauvin will likely get convicted of manslaughter....whether that is morally right or wrong is debatable in my opinion. I am admittedly not an expert on the case nor do I pretend to be as some do. Seems his body was subjected to many autopsies...I have a general understanding of what even 1 procedure entails, and it seems that each would get less and less accurate as time passed. For several different reasons. IIRC the first 2 autopsies were both done by the state? I could be wrong. From what I understood, neither of them pointed to asphyxiation from Chauvin as the cause of death? Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

The article linked above, assuming it is true...which i have no reason to think otherwise....the facts in it will make it an uphill battle just to get a manslaughter conviction instead of acquittal. Murder conviction in a normal and sane world would be impossible when a guy is shown to have 3x a lethal level of a deadly drug in his system and his lungs are so filled with fluid that they weigh 2.5x normal. No police officer or other person is responsible for either 1 of those . There in itself is reasonable doubt. Open and shut in a sane world....but 2020 proved that this country is batsheot crazy upside-down world ...so I guess anything is possible.

If what I initially read is correct...and the other officers on scene were ACTUALLY on their 1st day in the field....1st DAY with Chauvin being their supervisor/leader and or being subordinate to him....they should have never been charged with anything in the 1st damn place. Any money they spent on lawyers due to being charged with the BS charges they got in that Dimwit sheithole should be paid for after they are acquitted by the ignorant state of Minnesota or the city....whatever. NO WAY you can expect a new recruit on his 1st day on the job to jump in and try and take over an arrest from a veteran officer assigned to teach them how to do their new jobs. Very stupid and shameful that they were ever charged.

Looks like Minneapolis is going to get burned down.

The full video shows the fuzz treating Floyd courteously at first. But after a while they tried to put him in the back seat of a cruiser and he started crying and carrying on. It was clear that he did not want to go to jail. He said a couple of times that he could not breathe when there seemed to be no reason for it. They got his upper body into the car but could not get his legs all the way inside, so they finally took him out and laid him on the street. That's when one of them kneeled on top of his neck. I think they should have ordered a van and chucked him into it. I also think his death was vindictive, but it would not have happened if he hadn't so strenuously resisted arrest. Was he a good person or a bad person? He was passing counterfeit money while walking the streets in an obviously intoxicated state. He was also spewing out of his mouth all over those cops, and he tested covid-19 positive.

One of the videos you can see something on how tongue, which is thought to be the lethal dose of fentanyl. So, if he took that while in the front seat of the car, it would have been fully hitting his blood steam about the time he got over to the police vehicle. Combine his pre-existing health issues, lethal drugs in his system and then the distress of the arrest and there you go. While the arrest tactic may have contributed, it will be near impossible to ignore the co-morbidity factors, making a 2nd degree conviction near impossible. The publicity of this case will prevent the prosecution from pleading this down. Therefore the city will likely face being torn apart when he is found not guilty.

My guess is they'll have to find him guilty of something so it'll probably be manslaughter but the sentence will be short. Will that be enough to satisfy the mobs? I think not so yeah, the city will burn again

I'm thinking they will offer him a plea under the threat of federal civil rights charges if he doesn't take it. The prosecution does NOT want this to go to a jury.
