Get Ready For ND

This Jason guy must be joking. ND beat TN? LOL! Maybe 15 years ago, but look at the struggling Irish now--they lost to Boston College! This was some good comic relief, but, seriously, TN is going to make ND look like a powderpuff football team.

Victory is ours! Go ND!!!!
:dlol: :dlol: :dlol:

that's the best joke i've heard today. you do know that ND has no chance at beating TENNESSEE!!! B)

I'm sure you guys noticed, but look at the date on this thread.

Allvol, you cant just change your avatar like that, your throwing me off!!

Sorry I've been gone boys, but I've been busy talking to people who support real teams! Although I hate the fact that ND lost to BC (I don't think Ty is capable of beating them) it will make the ND defeat of Tenn. that much sweeter. Victory is ours! Go ND!!!!

:withstupid:

Well shoot, I guess we'll just have to wallow in jealousy here with our fake team. :dlol:

Notre Dame fan, it must suck to have a losing all-time record to a program that isn't real. Tennessee leads the all-time series with the Fighting Irish 4-2, including a 2-1 mark in Knoxville.

1991 Tennessee 35 irish 34
1999 Tennessee 38 irish 14
2001 Tennessee 28 irish 18

I'm as much a fan as the rest of you, but lets not get overconfident. Yes, ND lost to some chump teams but they also beat Michigan and have played some decent games. If we come out and play like we did against Bama, etc, we will have a game on our hands.

As most have been saying on this thread, Michigan is highly overrated.

Overrated, yes.... but to be undefeated in the Big10 is no small feat. The Vols have not been worldbeaters themselves this season.... winning by less than a touchdown in most of their games. Notre Dame will give a good game, imho.

Overconfident? Exactly who has Tenn. beaten? They got absolutly drilled by Aurburn, beat an extremly overrated Georgia team, and had to get a gift to beat a terrible Florida team. (Let's not forget struggling against a worthless Ole Miss.) If you really think Tenn. is going to have a cake walk with this game you are only fooling yourselves.

Cake walk no, victory yes.

Ole Miss gave Auburn a run for therr money also.

Beating a overated #3 UGA in a close game is much better than a close win vs. Stanford or a win vs. Navy.....right?

Notre Dame would have a rough time with South Carolina and Arkansas, no doubt!

The SEC would destroy the media darling Notre Dame and the love affair would be over.

Well.... er.... according to the statistics, the Vols have played the 3rd toughest schedule in the nation. 7-1 against that is pretty good.

And the definition of gift is when you are given points. Florida had every opportunity in the world to stop Tennessee.... and the Vols ran the clock down for the game winning field goal try. About the same amount of time that would have run off the clock had the officials not made the timing error.

And no I don't think the Vols will have a cake walk against Notre Dame, but I do think the Vols will win.... just like they've won the last 3 times they've played against Notre Dame.

The Florida game was an absolute disgrace! Did you watch the game? The personal foul called on the FL reciever while the TN defender bitch slapped him? Ring a bell? That is called a gift.

As for Auburn, if that is what you call giving someone a run for their money I'd hate to see your interpretation of a blow out. A 24 point defeat is getting crushed. I hope TN gives ND a run for their money too!

Does Boston College Mean anything to you Jason......

or Purdue or BYU?

or better yet got back to blueandgold.com or ndnation.com were the rest of the Irish talk about how bad they are going to get their :shakeit: handed to them

one point to be made is the ND coach is somewhat on the hotseat and with the Zook situation it seems once 1 coach in the NCAA gets fired 2-3 will soon follow. Knowing a bit about inner team mechanics you can look for the Irish to play well above their ability with this in mind if the players like the coach....if not it should be about a 24-13 win Vols. :twocents:

Dan4Vols is right, Ty does a pretty good job when nobody expects anything from him. Examples: Starting his career 8-0 (Then when expectations get high he melts down :( ), beating Florida State in Tallahasee, beating Michigan this year, and of course beating Tenn. this year.

After looking at Tennesse's schedule, my optimisim grows. They really haven't done much to scare me. I hope you ladies have the same cock-sure attitudes following the game. Talk to you then.
WE ARE ND!!!!!!!

Well, since this is my first post, I might as well dive right in.

From what I have seen out of ND so far this year, they are inconsistant. Thats due to a lack of coaching. Im sure that the UM win is so far a staple in the Irish season up until now, and a win over Tennessee would probably be even bigger.

But it's just not gonna happen. UT is too talented and too deep at almost every position. In addition to that, they are playing well as a TEAM. No single player stands out as being the "Star" of the team.

Someone mentioned the speed of Tennessee and how it is different than UMs. I agree on that too. Remember, Tennessee recruits athletes and makes them faster. ND plays teams from the Midwest, who havent quite gotten the gist of this concept yet.

I think ND and Jason are in for a wake up call on just how good this Tennessee team is. ANd all the coaching problems at ND arent going to help them any either.
