That is a good seriesThere's a series on Netflix called "Dirty Money" and there's two episodes that stuck out. One was the story on the Kushers (Jared and his dad). Those two wrote the book on sleeze. The other was about Donald and his grift, told by people who were insiders.
The whole series is good.
Kinda like HillaryI think it's a horrible practice to only go after someone bc you disagree with them politically. We all know Trump isn't being looked into if he weren't POTUS. I think it's an embarrassment of office to run for office on the claim that you will investigate person x if elected. I would hope people in the legal profession would agree. Trumps a POS. But we can be better then this.

He's claimed he's been through an IRS audit, but this is New York, there could be different issues. From what I've seen this could be related to deflating the value of property for state property tax and insurance purposes while inflating the value for banking/loan purposes. If this is true, it could be a state issue. I'm not saying it did or didn't happen, but that's the distinction. The bank and insurance fraud could be federal issues, but that doesn't mean there aren't state issues as well.

I have my doubts this will be done to anyone besides Trump. I can't stand the guy. This isn't the establishment finally going after its own.Ehh, I've kinda been waiting my whole life for this. Each POTUS has dirt and everybody always gets away with it because nobody wants the next guy coming after them. Everybody avoided the precedent. Now the precedent is being set and ex-presidents are fair game. Happy hunting.
You think the bank is going door to door in an 50+ story apartment tower asking "Do you live here and can I see your lease?" They require owners to provide certified rent rolls.I don’t believe it works like that.
I don’t think that home owners, land owners, or commercial property owners tell the city, county, or state the value of the their property. I think that’s the job of the property accessor.
Banks don’t lend money on property without an inspection to determine worth.

EXCLUSIVE - Manhattan prosecutors have already told witnesses to prepare to testify in front of Trump's grand jury: DA Cy Vance accelerates case - but former president's aides insist he has NOTHING
At least one witness has been told to prepare to give evidence before a grand jury investigating former President Donald Trump and his business, according to a source familiar with the matter.
- His investigation is believed to be looking at whether Trump ordered property prices inflated to get bank loans then deflated to reduce his tax bill
- But Trump insiders say they are not worried
- 'How are they going to prove that? Trump doesn't email,' said one
The development is the latest sign that the Manhattan district attorney's office is racing into the next phase of its investigation and will soon present evidence to members of a grand jury to consider bringing charges.
Trump insiders say the move is politically motivated and that the former president is unperturbed by the threat.
President Donald Trump called a potential prosecution 'purely political,' following reports Manhattan DA Cy Vance has convened a special grand jury in his probe of the Trump Organization
It was triggered by the testimony of Michael Cohen, who worked as Trump's personal attorney and fixer.
One focus is reported to be whether Trump inflated the value of properties to obtain bank loans and deflated them when calculating tax liabilities.
The idea of a Trump Organization conspiracy, with the former president directing staff to manipulate property prices, was dismissed by a Trump insider.
'How are they going to prove that? Trump doesn't email,' he said, adding that property prices were always in the eye of the beholder.
