HBO's "Game of Thrones"

She's probably only "annoying" to him cause she ain't a total babe like Dany or Sansa lmao
I like that Jaime (and Podrick) truly care for her because of who she is as a person. That story she told Podrick and the reason she loved Renly, definitely shows that she may be tough on outside, but fragile on the inside. I root for the lady-- definitely one of my favorites.

On the darkness issue: I thought the episode was dark-- I watched without lights on 55 inch screen, but after second viewing I picked up things I missed. First viewing, along with excitement and nerves may have played a part in not catching everything.

I have a Samsung 65" and could see and follow everything so either your tv is busted or you need glasses.

We're way past this now. The problem was experienced by a large portion of the audience and we've established a technological explanation as to why....

...or just keep telling millions of people that the problem is a TV that suddenly broke or eyes that suddenly stopped seeing.

I'm on projector, and I did have to turn out all the lights, even a little table lamp we often keep on while watching TV. It was quite dark at times, but we could still tell what was happening, and I figured they were going for that effect to immerse you into the night battle.

Yes.

Probably the biggest WTF moment in TV history. One doesn't need to be a GoT fan to appreciate that episode.
The buzz created around that episode is when I began watching it to see what the fuss was about back in June of 2013.... I had previously tuned in to a season 1 episode and caught Renly and Loras together and got a bad first impression of what kind of show it was.

I could see why that might cause some concern.

Of course, having a brother and sister have sex in Episode 1, Season 1 could put the damper on potential viewers as well.

I almost quit reading the books when that happened, but a co worker talked me into continuing. I knew that was coming years before show watchers...lol..it was hard not to spoil it.

Interesting to think about how much different the lives of the other Starks would have turned out if Robb and Catelyn had lived.

I'm 99.999999% positive everyone who watched that episode pulled some form or fashion of "HOLY ****! WTF JUST HAPPENED?!?!?!?!"
i know i did. i was trying to get caught up for season 4 or 5, and i was watching it on my ipad....i jumped out hte chair, headphones fell out out of my ears and i told my wife i had just seen teh best episdoe of TV in my entire life.

lol. that was a hell of an episdoe there....pho sho.

How you guys watch such a cinematic show on ipads in beyond me.
It’s called desperation. I’ve spent most of the last month and a half in Memphis with a family medical thing, and iPad is my only option. So far for this season anyway.

turn the lights off in the room you're watching.....that's what i did, had no issues.....

people are making way too big a deal about something that has some really simple solutions......lol.
I had the lights out and still had trouble seeing. Not everyone has great vision. Sure, that's not D&D's fault, but they don't have to add to my hardship by making it so dark.

legion of the miserable made it over GOT fandom, huh?

people that didn't like it, were looking for things not to like. and as usual...they found them.

congratulations.....lol.
This is not true. I love GoT. I get antsy waiting for each new episode. I wanted to be blown away by the episode. But for an episode that had so much action, it lacked a lot of story, IMO. You don't have to agree. And unlike you and McGill, I won't attack you over having a different opinion. But I wanted more from the episode, and honestly, I think this is the first time I've ever felt that way about a GoT episode.

Who said I was referring to you? Guilty conscience?
