Dontos took Sansa to his ship. Dontos was expecting payment from Baelish and instead got an arrow. He helped in some capacity. Can't remember what was said in the books, but I'd expect that he worked with Olenna Tyrell to get it done. He might even have admitted something to Sansa on the tv show. Thought he gave one of his "chaos comments" about it.

Yeah was reading some recaps, and I think Baelish was involved with almost every major event in the series.

I can't confirm if he had involvement with the Red Wedding, don't think he did though. But he was responsible for Jon Arryn's death, betrayed Ned, attempted to have Bran killed (and then lied which lead to Cat capturing Tyrion), he killed Lisa, married off Sansa to Ramsey (in the show), helped Olenna kill Joffrey. Had Cersei locked up by the High Sparrow...list goes on and on lol

Was Hardomme before or after they changed actors?

Before.

He looked way more menacing to me and otherworldly in Hardhome. He also didn't have gaps in his armor that led to his death.

And I haven’t seen one person argue that he wasn’t evil. But on the pecking order he rates lower imo.

It would have been an interesting twist if shortly after Melisandre collapsed and died they had cut to Jon Snow and showed him with a strange look on his face, then have him collapse and die.

I mean, if all the Army of the Dead has to die again when the Night King dies, isn’t it fair for the same rules to apply to the other side?

j/k
Sort of

So how is everyone feeling about the "Goooo....go, go" theory?

Makes that moment so much better for me honestly, I was very like "wth is Jon doing" when I saw it, but hearing that theory and rewatching I for sure think he saw Arya and helped her get by the dragon.

It also helps show how close the entrance to the woods was to the castle so it wasn't like Arya had to teleport or anything.

IIRC from reading the books...there was a secret entrance to the godswood. That is why it did not seem weird to me, oh and the fact Arya is basically a ninja trained to sneak up on people.

I miss him this season. A smart and funny character ("A naked knight?") and Aiden Gillen is a very good actor - perfect for that role... they should have let him stick around and let a White Walker tear into him.

I agree. I'd expect him to get killed off but the way they did it felt very average.

Seemed like once he arrived in Winterfell his only task was to lean against the wall with a blank stare on his face while watching Jon and Sansa at the table. Not what I'd expect from the biggest schemer in Westeros.

The good news, he’s about to have an expanded role on Peaky Blinders.

Aiden Gillen played that scene well, though. The expression on Littlefinger's face after Sansa has said, "How do you answer to these charges?" and then turned to him and said, "Lord Baelish?", was priceless.

It was meant to show how out of his element he was and that all his scheming had finally caught up to him.

He schemed himself into a place where people (the North) have different values than he was accustomed to. He had nobody loyal to him and nobody that could be bought. He counted on being able to manipulate Sansa and misjudged badly.

He was a perfect fit for Kings Landing but the moment he arrived in Winterfell he was doomed.

Apparently Sansa got hitched to a Jonas brother in Vegas last night. Even had an Elvis impersonator officiate.
