Possible, not sure how long it would take to travel across the sea though. I think I would talk to whoever is left in charge of Dorne, if it's still independent, and see if I could get their aid. They have no lost love for the Lannisters. Now that Team Dany has been hit with a rash of mid-season injuries does she call up Daario and the Second Sons from the Bay of Dragons affiliate?
You know GOT fans are sensitive die-hards when they can't even accept completely valid critiques about visibility. Maybe you saw everything you wanted to see. Cool. I personally would like to know which dragon is which. Hell, I don't even know how many dragons are alive. When the ravens did nothing, I didn't know if I missed what they did, or if they literally did nothing. The darkness helps you to experience what the characters are experiencing. You know what else allows you to experience what the characters are experiencing? The ability to see.
And while we're at it, the battle strategies are ridiculous. Why wait until the last second to light the moat on fire? Why defend Bran's position with archers? Why not send the women and children away days ago? Why not pick a more strategic location for the battle, like Thermopylae. A lot of stuff made no sense.
I liked the episode. I was tense throughout, but there are valid criticisms and the fact that people get so defensive about it makes me want to attack. It's OK that the show isn't perfect, guys.
I haven't "attacked" you..do you not see the difference between you and some of the others posts? You don't act like a idiot trying to be one of the too cool kids that are acting like the episode was garbage. I may have vehemently disagreed with your assessment, but I have not noted your opinion as stupidity..simply because it is notThis is not true. I love GoT. I get antsy waiting for each new episode. I wanted to be blown away by the episode. But for an episode that had so much action, it lacked a lot of story, IMO. You don't have to agree. And unlike you and McGill, I won't attack you over having a different opinion. But I wanted more from the episode, and honestly, I think this is the first time I've ever felt that way about a GoT episode.
Question of the day....does Bran retain Three Eyed Crow status after the demise of the Night King? They seemed to be linked in some way.
I have a Samsung 65" and could see and follow everything so either your tv is busted or you need glasses.
