HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Do you know any good people in your life that you know for a fact are kind, decent people that end up doing something awful even if they feel like it's for a good reason? Dany appears to be being dragged off of the heroes path she was on because she feels her claim to the IT slipping away. Now, maybe that is just her tragedy because of all her losses and stumbling blocks along the way but it appears she has grown desperate to take the IT and thoughts of benevolence have faded in favor of "I have to take the IT.
Something could shake her back. In the House of the Undying her vision showed reaching for the Throne in the bombed out Red Keep..it was right there and she took a step toward it and reached for it, but then she noticed the surroundings and stepped back and walked away. I always hoped that they would do something like that with her. But it doesn't appear to be like they are to me.

That might happen too, which I'm also fine with. Stepping back from the ledge would also be a story device that makes sense for her imo.

One thing is for sure at this point, they can go a lot of directions, I really have no idea what they will do. I just assume that it will be heartbreaking and depressing. I just hope it isn't.

One thing I do think is that since they have outpaced the books, the ending of this show is going to be far less brutal and heartbreaking than it would have been if GRRM had written it lol

Maybe Sam...I mean Jon can save her at the end from it.
I think Jorah was her Sam. I'm not sure Dany has ever liked or trusted Varys. She's openly questioned Tyrion's loyalty. And now she see Jon as competition, and she won't be happy when she learns others know his true parentage. Remember, I think it was in the second episode this season, Jorah acted as her voice of reason. Now he's gone, and with the exception of Gray Worm(who will probably die in the next battle) she's surrounded by people she doesn't fully trust.

She doesn't have to go over the ledge.

Couple of things after I rewatched. Why in the hell don’t they use Bran as a scout? I feel like this is bad narrative skill at some point. He could have went on the boats with DT and they would have had the upper hand. Unless he truly is evil now this makes no sense to me. Also, Cersei has the chance to cripple her opponent and didn’t do it. That scene outside the gates was not very well thought out. She had the advantage and she would have taken it just like she did blowing up the sept.

Oh...by the way...so much for Jaime's redemption story..
Jaime's redemption story and Brienne was one of my favorites--- It's not over till it's over. I don't think he took Brienne's virginity lightly-- He was sort of a virgin himself since he'd only ever been with Cercie. You are upset about Dany? I would be so pissed if Jaime just went back to being the character we saw at the beginning.

One of the best scifi/fantasy/comics reviewers on YouTube is a guy named Charlie..his channel is called "Emergency Awesome". I love his stuff, he pretty much shoots down the really crazy theories, and breaks down the most likely options. He is the best at it imo. He has grown to have a humongous following. I highly recommend. He also does spoilery and non spoilery breakdowns, and lists in the description which it is.

They have definitely shown her as to only having her eyes on the prize this season ... since learning of Jon's heritage, she has only shown a concern as to how it impacts the succession to the throne, it just seems like an "Oh, my God! I've been f***ing my nephew." moment might have been in order.
She's always had her eyes on the prize---I dont' want Dany to become a Villain, of all characters she truly deserves the crown. Nothing would have been possible without her. She does have a right to be pissed. I do know if she dies, I need to see an appearance by Drogo so we can have a happy moment for her.

You need an appearance by Drogo because Jason Momoa lol

It would be fun to watch Bran call Cercei on all the evil things she did before they give her the Ned Stark treatment.

Yeah...that pisses me off too, but I knew he was not going to miss this last battle, I think he will be the one to kill Certs. I just wish he seemed more conflicted about it. It just seemed like he just brushed off his long forming conscience way too lightly.
