I think a wait-and-see approach is very fair. And I think it still applies after game five. It sounds like you've moved from wait and see to a negative outlook because we weren't in the Oregon and Florida games with "the potential for an upset".
I was in those same stands at halftime was was sick about that first half. It was a bad decision to start Peterman and our staff cost us points in that first half. We should have taken a field goal when in range instead of forcing a pass on third down (which I believe resulted in a turnover) and I disagreed with the decision to put Peterman in a passing situation on 3rd and long inside of our ten yard line, which also cost us points.
I almost feel like if we get blown out, we're outclassed but if we compete then we let one get away.
I personally don't have any issues with criticism of this staff or certain player performances. I took a little issue with this thread because the OP wants to complain about whining, by whining, and calling everyone "coach worshippers". I'd just like to discuss specifics and figure out the reasoning behind those who are still in full support and those we are waning a bit after what we saw yesterday.
:hi:
I had no expectation of a win at Oregon. I had hoped they learned from that experience and would have improved on it for the UF game. Face it, playing against UF's offense had to seem like going from racing a Ferrari to a Buick.
It didn't happen. The things the coaches and players were Tweeting about in the off-season haven't shown up on the field.
That's what I'm disappointed in. Not the W's and L's, but the execution on the field.
