I'm not freaking offended by the message. I'm saying that many not in the fold find it offensive and use it to belittle the Christian cause. Why not find a new freaking tack.

Read the words Christ, Paul, Peter, et al used. They didn't beat around the bush. In fact, the NT specifically tells us that the gospel IS offensive to those "not in the fold".

Interesting that everyone likes a "straight shooter" unless they're a Christian witness.

I personally go to great lengths to not be personally offensive while sharing a message that I know will be offensive to many. No one likes to be told they're wrong. The gospel is the biggest "you're wrong" accusation of them all... complete with the consequences of continuing to be unrepentantly wrong.
