Exactly. If a guy had "Allah" under one eye and "Ackbar" under the other, I don't think he would have quite the widespread support .

haha, it is effective though. Just because your turnedd off to the idea of someone coming up to you and asking you what you think about God makes you mad doesn't mean others feel the same way. Not spreading the gospel, to Christians, is like finding the cure for cancer and not telling anyone about it

I have been one to go door to door in the past. It is a amazing feeling. There is alot more acceptance than anger.

No doubt, at the end of the day its about love and compassion for another person. Why else risk having all these people get mad and yell at you and tell you to do other things to yourself?

For the feeling of gratification and accomplishment? I admit I am a cynic, but growing up around evangelicals, it seemed to be as much about feeling "complete" and "fulfilled" as well as morally superior, as anything.

Ya, I know. I am a cynic and just don't get it. I accept that.

Its ok. I was just saying that of course he wouldn't have had the widespread support he has because America is primarily a Christian nation. I could care less what he puts on his face, but I dont have a problem with any of it. Just a verse that he lives by, and I commend that.

The fact that Tebow posts scriptures about the same God I do is not the reason I am accepting of it. If someone wants to promote Islam or Judaism, Wicken or whatever, I would have no problem with his outward display of his faith.

I have participated in street witnessing in Jacksonville, Fl. It was a intradenominational project called "Mission Main Street". It was an area well known for drugs, homeless, prostitution, etc. I know you may not understand or believe this, but God can and does order our steps at times. That day he directed me to quite a few people that were just hanging on and needed to hear a message of hope. I suspect that those guys going door to door have had similar experiences. For every 1oo doors slammed in their faces, there may be one that needs them to be there. Sometimes we become insulated to lost and the sufferring that are all around us. While Hat or you dont want to listen there are people that are desperate to know someone cares.

If thats their belief then no. Personal beliefs are your decision, that you made after studying and consideration. To be ashamed of them would be foolish?
However, if they are on there to attack someone else's beliefs, then it could be a problem
