I have participated in street witnessing in Jacksonville, Fl. It was a intradenominational project called "Mission Main Street". It was an area well known for drugs, homeless, prostitution, etc. I know you may not understand or believe this, but God can and does order our steps at times. That day he directed me to quite a few people that were just hanging on and needed to hear a message of hope. I suspect that those guys going door to door have had similar experiences. For every 1oo doors slammed in their faces, there may be one that needs them to be there. Sometimes we become insulated to lost and the sufferring that are all around us. While Hat or you dont want to listen there are people that are desperate to know someone cares.
If thats their belief then no. Personal beliefs are your decision, that you made after studying and consideration. To be ashamed of them would be foolish?
However, if they are on there to attack someone else's beliefs, then it could be a problem
Amen brother. I participated in "Faith" amongst other things. People can argue till they are blue in the face on this matter, but they can never change what God did for me personally. I am not perfect, a holy roller, etc nor do I claim to be. There is a world full of lost people looking for something. Some people turn to drugs, gambling, sex, etc and I think this is a way to turn them to something that is positive.
My guess is that he was looking for someone to turn up his morphine drip.
I think Tebow should wear "Matthew 6:5-6" on his eyeblack.
what about those who chose not to?
if the point is to love God and follow him, why would he give us the choice?
2 Timothy, Chapter 3.....more specifically verse 12
