Interesting Statistics

You may have an IQ of 130, but if you cannot function socially, or anything to that matter you are going to fail

See, this is where you aren't up for debate. You take YOUR SMALL SAMPLES and try to apply it universally. As I said, and this is fact, MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, higher intelligence will yield higher academic aptitude. Certainly there are instances of where the ultra gifted are lazy; however, that is an exception and not a rule.

Give up dude, these people are close-minded fools. Luckily for us, they are in the minority.

what stats? all you have said is that you work for some school. I guess that works in bizarro world.

All you have done is called people dumb, and said who is smarter then who, yet you have provided no credientials in the matter. For all we know you could be a cafeteria lady at said school. However in the Obama philosophy, thats how it should be.

Go back an read the thread. You will find on more than one occasion, I gave the statistics for our incoming freshman.

Who said anything about Obama? What does he have to do with this thread?

then wtf are you telling people they are dumber then you because you work at some smart school or whatever. WHAT is your main point?

Specifically what about Sweden is rife with corruption?

Oh, I don't know. How about the corruption in their police forces?

The fact a high profile police chief running arms as early as 2001 through various european mafia outfits assassinated several key investigators. It went unnoticed because the police chief was protected by several key members of their government.

I mean, I find this troubling.....

dude, you keep saying work for a smart school, but you wont tell what you do at this school. That is very important in detmining your validity

I think it is a greater skew when those that aren't "gifted" simply work harder. The "size of the fight in the dog" examples would, I imagine, outnumber the highly gifted but lazy group.

You take one person that practically sleeps their way to a 3.75 GPA and a person that the first would consider a complete idiot but threw themselves like waves against the shoreline into their studies and earned a 3.75 GPA and what have you got?

I bring this up because while I in fact know very few people I'd consider very smart that were also very lazy I've known many people that flatly outwork others that, in a vacuum, would probably be considered "smarter".

17 pages already, wow.

I've missed the action.

Results aren't surprising though.
