CNN has a free app that shows CNN and HLN live. I think this used to be a paid app but they made some changes.

Bloomberg has a nice iPad app and they just recently added live steaming.

iTunes Match looks like it will be good. If I read it correctly, I should be able to access my entire music library (currently 11,284 songs worth) through my phone by streaming. Potential upgraded quality is also a plus.

Coming Soon
iTunes Match
If you want the benefits of iTunes in the Cloud for music you haven’t purchased from iTunes, iTunes Match is the perfect solution. It’s built right into the iTunes app on your Mac or PC and the Music app on your iOS devices. And it lets you store your entire collection, including music you’ve imported from CDs or purchased somewhere other than iTunes. For just $24.99 a year.2

Here’s how it works: iTunes determines which songs in your collection are available in the iTunes Store. Any music with a match is automatically added to your iCloud library. Since there are more than 20 million songs in the iTunes Store, most of your music is probably already in iCloud. All you have to upload is what iTunes can’t match. Which is much faster than starting from scratch. Once your music is in iCloud, you can stream and store it on any of your devices. Even better, all the music iTunes matches plays back from iCloud at 256-Kbps AAC DRM-free quality — even if your original copy was of lower quality.

Agreed. Upgraded quality from old crappy sketchy mp3's will be nice.

The question is, what about songs not available for purchase on iTunes? Like, AC/DC, Tool, etc.

Go into settings & check your cellular data usage. You can reset it if you want. Listen to pandora for ever how long & go back & check usage. Should give you an idea. Wifi is unlimited if that's an option for you.

Thought I'd bring this thread back.

I recently got Ski Safari, Trade Nations, and Wingsuit. All games, wingsuit and ski safari are a dollar but they are so addicting.

Can't let the android apps thread beat us now can we?

New jailbreak is finally out. I love the tweaks such as kill background app. Kills all the apps running in the background with 1 click!

Chrome is now available for the iPhone. Tabs are rad and it appears to be pretty stable. Not tap the top to go to the top of a page though, that may be a deal killer.
