It's Coming

I quite familiar with laws …. It’s my job. If you are a true constructionist then you can’t believe there is an inherent individual right to carry firearms under the 2nd Amendment.

Speaking of a tyrannical government how do you think the 2nd Amendment protects you against tanks, bombs, airplanes, etc. it is clear the framers never considered that a tyrannical government would have anything other than black powder and muskets. So one has to read into the 2nd Amendment to get to an individual right to carry a firearm for strictly personal reasons.

Let’s just hope it never comes to that. You’d have to be a lunatic to desire a civil war. But, you are aware there are far more ex-veterans than current service members. Our currently military numbers around 2 million, active and reserve combined. We haven’t forgotten how operate. When I took my oath it was to defend this nation against our enemies, foreign and domestic but that didn’t include the American citizens. As an American service member you’d have to be a brain washed sicko to ever turn you’re weapon on our nations citizenry.

LOL, Who is against voting rights? You must be referring to the thought of providing an ID to vote which apparently to some is to be against voting rights. Yet a person has to show an ID to buy alcohol, tobacco, enter a club, fly on commercial aircraft, and so many other activities yet to show it to vote is inappropriate.
So you agree that someone needs to be registered and show an ID to purchase a firearm right? I mean you are for background checks and to have a valid issued government ID for the private sale of guns, right? If so then we are in agreement.

I prefer people actually have training on how to use a gun like drivers Ed for cars, but that is a bridge too far for most. Other than that I don’t care about open carry or how many or what types of guns people have.

It takes away background checks for mentally defective individuals, if you think that is ok then we will just have to agree to disagree. If you have to have a license to operate a car one would think you would need it for a firearm. If you have to take a parenting class to get a divorce probably should have some oversight for a gun.
No it doesn’t. And Driving a car isn’t a right

You argued there are background checks …. And there isn’t.

Since when????? I’ll be buying another scary gun pretty soon and I’m going to tell the FFL not to complete a background on me because Robert Pellitt said they aren’t necessary. And when they question me I’ll tell them to contact you because you know the law. LOL

Your missing the point entirely. The point is if you determine the government is tyrannical there is nothing in the Second Amendment that would help you overturn it.

As a law abiding citizen I don’t get too hung up on backgrounds. I have about 2 to 4 backgrounds run on me annually outside of firearm purchases. I’m against gun registration though.

That doesn’t even make sense.

You’re assuming the entire military would side with the government which is not correct at all. Even folks in the service would chose a side but let’s hope that day never comes.

And it doesn’t change anything with background checks nor does it allow mentally ill or felons to carry legally. Which is what you said. So again. You are wrong
Dude you are seriously misguide it is a federal law that keeps felons and domestic abusers prohibited from carrying. What this does allows those people to go buy it without a background check and then the government has to catch them in possession rather than prohibiting it.

It’s not that hard to rationalize. Just read and try to comprehend what is actual happening. Damn, it’s not that hard.

Lmao you don’t know Jack about TCA code. I’ve arrested people before for felony possession of a firearm. This law didn’t make it legal for these people to carry. Jesus 😂

OMG. That is not the point. Read carefully! There is no militia that can be overthrow the United States government with weapons under the 2nd Amendment, so citing its usage against said government is silly. Has nothing to do with who the military sides with.

I’ll take my law degree over your GED goodnight.
So what part of TCA code allows mentally ill and domestic abuses and felons to carry legally there law clerk? You are clueless. You said that and you are too stubborn to admit you are completely wrong
