KIFFIN ONLY HAS TWO LOI's?! - Yeah, not really.

Come on, hat. Even you cannot seriously think that Kiffin did not luck into every opportunity he's had since Monte begged Carroll to hire him.

I'll give you this, you are entertaining. So if that's what you are going for, well done.

Exactly probably in between clients. Do you do Divorce's HAT

Wow! Several hours arguing back and forth with a guy that knows no more than anyone else about future of UT Football. The same guy that resorts to name calling when he loses the debate. Why even waste your time people? Let the guy soak in his miserable existence.

I believe I could give you that would be quite entertaining. An Ali versus Tyson Fight.

Yeah, hiring a guy suited for C-USA is the answer. If kids change their minds every five minutes, what the hell does it matter what UT did two years ago?

Dooley said it himself, (paraphrasing) "..it was a calculated risk...leaving Saban's staff for a HC job at a school with a track record of mediocrity at best was a high risk and difficult decision, but I wanted to be a HC. Would I might have been more sought after had I stayed with him & gone to Bama? Maybe, but I felt this was the right decision."

The fact remains...people with faaaar more cred than you or me, a la Saban & Muschamp, recommended CDD as a head coach. So why would I listen to a weekend warrior lawyer over guys actually who do it for a living?

Letting the Alabama head coach make a recommendation as to who Tennessee should hire is like letting Al Qaeda choose the head of the CIA.

For the record: Dooley lands a better recruiting class ( 9th/rivals ) in two weeks than our "awesome recruiter" was able to produce last year with months to work with.

Take the early enrollees, which Dooley had nothing to do with, out of the equation and tell me how great this class is.

That's a classic line, kudos to you.

BUT I was talking about Saban recommending Dooley for the LA Tech job when all he'd ever been was a positional coach. High praise.

Saban thought he'd do a good job at a meaningless, jerkwater outpost. Big deal. The record says he was wrong.

I don't understand why everyone's jumping on hat? He has Tennessee's best interest first. Why do so many people run to defend mediocrity?

The record says more losses than wins, but Fulmer's record says 100 more wins than losses...does that mean you're a Fulmerite now?

The record doesn't tell the whole story. LA Tech in 2009 was a pretty inexperienced unit. Plus, it's LA Tech. They suck usually anyways.

Rarely. I find domestic relations work tedious.
More tedious than bashing posters on the internet in your spare time? There has got to be something more fulfilling to do with your time.

As far as Dooley, he is completely unproven but he does have a chance for success. I would say the odds of an unproven coach being successful in the SEC aren't much especially considering the mess he was left with. Still I'm going to give the guy the chance to prove himself one way or another.
