I think I told you I was a pipeline operator year ago. We had a 12” gas line from Atlanta to Nashville which we ran gas or diesel and an 8” diesel/Kero line. I was curious and could not remember but could you run aviation in a diesel vehicle?

I never worked that station and was only on East and West side Town operations. We only kept an operator on site at the airport when we had a delivery for them, otherwise it was a diesel delivery to East or West side

Yes but you need a lubricant additive. It's basically high grade kerosene.

There are also different grades. I'm not certain that I would make that experiment on my own.
