the 3 democrats likely won't be hospitalized or face death; same for the 30k non-vaxxed Americans - most won't be hospitalized and roughly 1.5% will face death.

If we're vaccinated, why do we have to wear a mask? We shouldn't be able to get it or pass it on.

I am vaccinated. The CDC does not advise me to wear a mask. And if they were to change their recommendation then I am still not wearing one except for in business that require it.

Oh I know that, but I thought it was like 95%+ at preventing covid. Statistically it would seem unlikely to contract it in public where a huge percentage of people are either vaccinated or have natural antibodies.

Ohio's Gov. DeWine had already said he won't re-close businesses or install a mask mandate. People need to take care of themselves.

I like him. Good guy.

Some are better than others. Pfizer and Moderna are north of 90.

That's true enough. The larger the % of group members that are vaccinated and/or naturally immune, the less likely of anyone contracting the virus, and even less likely that anyone gets seriously ill.

Is this the therapeutic you're talking about? If so, it sounds interesting and I'm going to have to dig deeper into it.

I also read where some hospitals are using an ivermectin, doxycycline, and zinc cocktail. My only concern with that going Mainstream in the US is the ability of pharmaceutical companies to keep up with the doxy supply. I'm on it semi-permanently right now and having it end up in short supply could make things a little rocky for those of us in chronic wound care situations.

@NurseGoodVol I know you changed jobs, but i remember you posting info about commonalities of people in the hospital with Covid. Are there any updated numbers?

I remember vitamin D and overweight being two of the more common links. I was wondering if that still stoodup, or with more data if other/better trends have emerged?

This is ridiculous. People wanting the government to bail them out. So many places are at a critical need for employees. Wages highest they have ever been. Go to work. Negotiate with the landlord a payment plan. Stop waiting for the government. You could of had a job 12 months ago.
